Hey everyone. Some notes about this video: This video was a new experience for me. Not what I usually make. I apologise that most of the dialogue had the background music of those scenes still in them. I wanted to isolate the dialogue and remove the music from them, and after hours of trying, I came to realize that it wasn’t possible for me to remove the music (at least not good enough) with the tools I currently have. Or I could, but it would make the dialogue sound distorted. I wasn’t going to buy a new program just for this one video, so I was left with a choice. Scrap the video or release it as is and hope the message still comes across despite sloppy audio. I chose the second one. Maybe one day I can come back and do a remaster of this video, but I settled on this for now. Hopefully you still liked it. Take care!
I did not notice the music outside the piano score that was the main focus so yeah, it's pretty good, i love this video, keep up the good work strange!
Everyone looks up to Ruby and she makes the tough decisions on what to do, how inspiring, your a great leader Ruby. Even if some things may not go according to plan, she always has some sort of backup plan. Amazing video as always, love it since Ruby my favorite out of this series! :)
I worry about where Ruby will be by the end of the series. I can’t fight the feeling that she’ll have to sacrifice herself to save everyone else and not get the happy ending she so rightfully deserves. I hope I’m wrong.
Well the story of little red riding hood had a bad ending. I could see Ruby dying or be absent in the next volume. Kinda like Rick grimes form the walking dead
Maybe, that is the ultimate lesson of being a leader. Not everyone will have a happy ending, even if you do all the right things.... A reality we all learn in life. I hope Ruby & the heroes will find their way..... Even if it may cost them dearly. 😅🙏🌹
I feel so sorry for Ruby. Everyone's looking up to her as the leader - even Qrow - and everyone forgets that she's only 17. She's the youngest out of all of them, but she's been through the most.
The difference between Ruby, Ironwood and Oz is that she does questionable things, but she acknowledges that they are questionable, and is willing to get help and advise form others.
Your not wrong, but your not right about oz and james. Both in their own way did listen but oz concern to keep people mind at ease to not cause panic, and constantly be on the defense, then take action against salem lackies(despite whatever lack of information he had, but because of his cautious, and fear for others, cost him beacon). James tried to listen and practice what he preached, but as we saw, it pushed him in a very dark point for him, he learned from beacon anything or anyone could bring chaos, he just failed to realize how threatening he made himself, to himself and others by his fear and paranoia. Personally ruby did grow and realized the "Weight" of her decisions, good or bad, whatever the outcome!
@@kennethherrera588 I will agree that you are right about Oz, however Ironwood is a different story. He may listen to what others have to say. He continued to exploit Mantle despite how bad things were down there and Ignores Nora’s comments on the topic. He also refuses to work with the other council members, and begins potentially dangerous plans without anyone knowing. Sorry if I came off as aggressive, I respect your opinion and you bring up some excellent ideas.
@@allsuper9268 no, it's ok, james have he's flaws, but me personally tolerated all three character decision and accept their failure with "understanding" is that they feel guilt, and doubts, but still have to make a hard choice, well that's my opinion!
I love Ruby and ım impressed that she can carry all this weight ;keeping everyone together at v6, doing some tough choices, death of people she knew and if you know new ep now there is more... All I can hope that she will be okey in the end.
Just came from Phoenix/Night’s video, and what he said made a lot of sense. At the beginning of the show, Yang, Nora, Jaune, and Ruby all grabbed relics. As we’ve seen, Yang has grabbed the relic of knowledge. It’s being hinted at that Jaune will grab the relic of destruction. Nora could grab the relic of creation and use it to turn Penny into a real girl. And Ruby would grab the relic of choice, back in Beacon where it all began. She’s the one who’s had to make all of the choices thus far.
Ruby is a better character than a lot of people give her credit for. She has what’s called a “flat character arc” where the character’s purpose in the narrative is more about their impact on those around them than the world’s impact on them. But, they also do something fascinating, which is to show how the way she’s done that is through compartmentalism, moving forward, trying to be everyone’s source of light without ever actually dealing with her own issues. I’m fascinated to see where that goes.
There's A Video About How U Don't Technically Need To *"Grow Or Change"* To Be A Compelling Character, That U Don't Need A Character Arc, Something Like *"Writing Characters Without Character Arcs"* Or Something Like That... But As With Every Trope Used In RWBY, That Trope Will Be Bended A Bit, While Ruby Has Grown, It's Nowhere Near As Expressed As Her Fellow Peers & For The Most Part, She Takes A Back Seat From The Main Conflict (Despite That She's... Ya'know! The MC!) But As We Saw In V7 & Now In V8, It's Clear That Her Arc Is Changing... She's Reaching Her Breaking Point, Not Necessarily Break Down In Depression, But She's Finally Realizing The Weight Of Her Choices & How Bad This Situation Really Is
Leadership is not something that’s easily gained, but earned through the hardships you and your comrades have endured together and trusting each other to the end. One must be strong-willed, persistent, level-headed, and most of all, caring to their team and the people around them. Unlike Salem, her sense of leadership is to manipulate people-to have them side with hatred and malice because she’s immortal and powerful like there’s nothing that can stop her. She’s lost her humanity, her sense of mortality and what is right or wrong. I’ll admit it’s easy to be tempted to the dark side. But let’s not forget that the opposite of dark is light, and the light finds a way to bring hope to the world, even in the darkest times: to preach love-not hate, to be humble-not proud or overbearing, to hope that one day these acts will bring peace and unity. Wether or not Salem actually wins or not, the light *will find its way.*
A well done look into Ruby's world from the start to now. And the growing, yet painful strength of her character! It will grow unbearable.... It may be her undoing!! But, she will bear it and keep trying to do the right thing. That is her true will and I love that about her. 😎💖🌹
