Agreed. Most mothers in these dramas go to ridiculous lengths to whitewash their sons but Tehzeeb knew when to step back and let her son do some growing up and introspection on his own. The problem is that his father’s overbearing personality and bully behaviour prevented Salis from developing a spine and also made him draw even closer to his mother and depend on her for everything. In many ways, he depended on Wafa the same way. Salis needs to be on his own, as his mother said, and grow up.

This drama is actually good. It has lessons and layers which a society has. And it also shows the consequences and finally the right way to solve it. From farjad being too toxic leading to marriage that shouldn't happen. Then realising it later and being apologetic and changing behaviour and making sure he stands on the right side and not his sister's while still thinking good of her, is just an example. The way whole family regretted as soon as they realised and they did wrong in past which wasn't justified. So, the problems, then consequences and finally the right way to deal with them.

@@Confusedsoul22 kindly look that episode again, he had anger issues and he was going to kill Shifa, but Shifa and Salis cunningly put all the blame of wafa, thus breaking his trust over wafa, after that Farjaad remained silent and Usman provoked for wafa and Salis' wedding.
Don't forget Farjaad was the one who unveiled Shifa in that restaurant and told his mother everything what he saw. I feel sorry for Farjaad, he deserves better happy ending.
