  • In this video, Eckhart Tolle discusses the paradox of conscious manifestation, emphasizing that being in a state of appreciation and alignment with the present moment is more crucial than having a clear vision. He explains that fully engaging in whatever you do with complete attention enhances the quality of manifestation. Eckhart Tolle also highlights common obstacles, such as not being able to give fully to the present moment due to fear or holding back, which can reduce the energy put into actions.

    I have tested everything mentioned over the last 20 years. It’s true. Just be and trust life. The more you obsess over ANYTHING will give you suffering and the opposite result. It’s because all is one. When you obsess, want, complain, or resist you cause a separation in life and this requires a lesson to make life whole again. Just flow, be present and allow life to do its thing and one day you will wake up and realize life is perfectly the way you wanted.

    I’ve found myself no longer stressing over procrastination of projects. I now see it as a lack of being fully committed at the moment. Then in time without much thought about it I’m into the project and fully engaged. I’ve learned not to force anything and that has changed my life ✌🏻💙

    What I got from this was that if you attach yourself to the outcome you desire, you dissipate your consciousness, degrading your own power, and the thing you desire is less likely to manifest itself.

    The following quote (she had tweeted it) by Byron Katie has helped me immensely. She also had an instantaneous awakening like E. Tolle. "If I had a prayer, it would be this: 'God spare me from the desire for love, approval, and appreciation. Amen.'" My anxiety level plummeted after I read this.

    Yes, because the outcome is the "future", but ultimately what we deeply all want is to be in a state of enjoyment of that outcome and that enjoyment can only ever be in the present moment. Attaching to the outcome can hinder you because you're not living life, you're waiting for your prize in the future and that's a cycle that goes on and on because as with all attachment, it's never enough even when you get or achieve what you wanted. The point is as ever to align yourself with the now, the outcome is simply gardening and practical planning of your steps to come, and again, as always, who knows what the future holds. A vitally important lesson in my opinion.

    This really resonated ❤ As a visual artist trying to grow, I recently got too caught up in the outcome, especially when using social media. for a period of time recently it took me out of being present with making art and made me feel disconnected from my true purpose for a while. I'm grateful to finally begin a new journey of releasing that attachment to the outcome to really get back to the root of why I make art in the first place: to lose myself in the process and be fully present and embodied. I saw Henry Rollins in a beautiful theatre in Holland last year. Spoken Word. I expected the usual flood of energy, especially seen in his music. Warning my wife about his explosive energy, we saw a man as old as us, reflecting on his American day to day life. We couldn't really relate to his stories as much as I liked 'the Henry I remember'. His mind seemed to be occupied by something else..
    Yet we still relate to you dear Mister Tolle🍀

    I was holding back for many years because of suppressed emotion and habits that kept me shut down. I failed in my first attempt at a music career because it was all about wanting to get validation for who my parents never saw me as. I pushed myself to meditate harder and try and be more present for many years and suffered through a lot of it. When I started unraveling my past presence became much more natural.

    • @vicx05
      @vicx05 Місяць тому +1

      Can you explain how meditating 'harder' and trying to be more present didn't work for you? I ask because I'm in the same boat, almost a year of daily meditation and it feels like I've plateaued or even gone backwards.

    • @__get__grounded__
      @__get__grounded__ Місяць тому

      @@vicx05 I think for folks with a lot of anxiety (which includes me) meditation can just send us into mental spirals that we can’t escape and ends up being counter productive. I spent years suffering through meditation including long retreats not realizing that not everyone suffered through it like I did. I’ve spent the last couple of years focused on more somatic based practices which bring me into my body and other personal work and I finally find myself able to sit in meditation and actually let go of my mind. I could never do this before. I think Eckhart’s work somewhat overlooks this. A lot of us have deeper traumas than presence practices will allow us to heal. Curious if this relates at all to your experience.

      @@__get__grounded__ Where can I learn more about these somatic based practices? I don't have bad anxiety but I do have a restless mind and keep losing focus/presence, I used to be able to meditate deeply when I started but now it's somehow harder.

    To get unattached on the outcome, to get fully present, conscious of the step I currently take I tell myself a fascinating simple quote from Wayne Dyer: "Let go and Let God." Whatever you might call it, God, the Universe, the higher Consciousness all are synonymus. This gets me right back into the moment of now and lets me as well practice surrender.

    You have to fall in love with the process until you have forgotten what the outcome will be. If you want to make music but you don't fall in love with playing an instrument or singing etc you will never make music but you will always want to and wish you had.

    I think the experience of thousands of fans is joy, bliss, etc. I think consciously expressing the emotions and experiencing them in the “now” is the point. Picturing the outcome is a state of wanting or lack of, some people fool themselves here. By focusing on joy and bliss you may not get the exact “target”, but you will get experiences that mirror it. Baby steps also, enjoy the journey, I may see you on stage at the end 😊

    As a filmmaker, writer and poet, and someone who creates purposeful and thought provoking entertainment, I have observed the unease with me when I temporarily leave my selfless stardom and project the attachment to future goals in with way of impatiencey. An example is wanting to be able to take care of my parents financially and retire them from the shackles of the social economy. As I say: Working in the Now, later produces the How ❤ and as well as seeking financing for my large budget screenplays, "rejection" is one of the ego's favorite chord to play
