Had a pleasure of visiting the site two weeks ago! Absolutely stunning place. Amazing food and atmosphere! For once I was happy that our flight to Manchester was late! Otherwise we would’ve past Rivington an hour before it opened. Once we got in, the place was already packed!! I also realized that there aren’t too many taprooms that I’ve visited in Finland, England, US (etc.) that have realized how important it is to collaborate with independent restaurants, bakeries etc. The quality of pizza, burgers, and cakes/bakes was incredible at Rivington. Of course Track, Tree House etc have good concepts with pizza on site but Rivington is really nailing it!! The only problem was that I had to drive to the Lake district so I had to drink non-alcoholic beer. 😂
Sounds like you had a great trip! The food is indeed excellent. We only had the pizza from Char but I’d go as far as to say it’s the best taproom pizza I’ve had yet 🍻 🍕
They do but only for Merch. During the pandemic they did sell beer but I think the logistics is not ideal for them due to their location (nearest town is Adlington and it doesn't exactly have a big courier depo). They work quote closely with a wine & beer shop called TWrightWine in Bolton who get almost all their releases.

This brewery is 5 minutes down the road and my happy place ❤
