@@SixEightWoodworks I’m currently running a 20w gantry laser and I love it, but I’ve been looking into the world of fibers. I’m more curious about it being portable(ish) and fast for on site engraving at craft fairs.
Did you get the conveyor belt as well?
Looks anazing question though, So do you have to use the little hand scree modual or can i use my laptop computer?
Does the conveyor come with it or add-on?
The conveyor belt is the most compelling part of this unit but if I were going to use it for mass production (as opposed to just engraving a large object) I'd probably go with a stronger dedicated fiber for that price. Excited to see it in action though!

I just got an S1. I would have struggled between it and the Ultra if it had been announced a few weeks earlier, but I think I’m still happy with my choice.
The S1 is a couple thousand cheaper, has a larger work area, and more safety features (the F1 is designed to work with the lid up or down, and that concerns me with kids around).
That said, I really like the idea of being able to do 3D engraving on coins and tokens. Maybe they’ll eventually bring a measure of that to an S1 module or a separate enclosed Fiber machine.
Well that'll be a very interesting video to see when we can really get a good look at its capabilities. And as always I just bought my fiber laser if only I had known.. lol by the size comparison I don't know how transportable that thing's gonna be..

For $3700/$4700 you're way better off getting a real Fiber Laser. It's going to take forever to deep engraving with a 20W Fiber.
Yep way over priced
It is a tad pricey, but remember it's for a target audience. Obviously if you plan on serious deep 3D engraving, you'll want a dedicated 50W fibre. But you can get pretty sweet 3D engraving effect at 0.5mm depth (close to the relief on most North American coinage) on small items, and at 20W this will do that fairly quickly. I think for the right people, this is a brilliant machine. 👏

It’s pretty clear all of the reviewers that received the ultra to review were bound not to physically provide a review until a set date. All the reviewers state the same similar thing. ‘I’ll test this in the coming weeks “ or “in my next video I can’t wait to get using this”. What maker, laser nut, general interest influencer would not immediately not stay up all night and produce even a rudimentary initial use video. They are all under some restriction. Ok. I’m not bashing any of the reviewers. Really. I’m not. I just think it should be clear that there is a reason xtools put this restriction in place. Either they fear a let down on the hype or this is simply the hype mechanism or something else. It should just be obvious that there is a play here

I was just out in the driveway cutting up boxes that my P2 and F1 came in. It dawned on me how many of these machines Xtool gives away to "influencers:....dozens and dozens of them. Who do you suppose pays for these machines....Xtool is not taking a loss on them, of course not you but me and folks like me. I'm not upset with you at all I say good for you, in fact I applaude you as you have all kinds of good ideas for use of these machines.....but in the end I still get to pay for yours so you should thank your viewers not Xtool. WOW this is eventually going to cost as much as a P2 and that does not include the conveyor which, I assume, is extra.
This is crazy overpriced, you’re way better off getting a REAL fiber laser.

Not a hater. But how do they expect people to put money down on something without knowing the actual price? Like someone else asked: What if they can't afford it? Do they get their money back? Maybe you don't know or forgot to include it.
