im wondering what you mean in "specializes in dark triad psychopathy"
you state "dark triad psychopathy" as one concept- not sure if just meant like dark triad AND pyschopathy or something like that maybe but saying dark traid pyschopathy as one thing seems to be qualifying it as type of psychopathy or specifying some difference from just regaular pyschopathy, which is confusing. If psychopathy is one of the 3/"triad" of traits of the dark triad personality theory im wondering what dark triad psychpathy would mean exactly.
Also; you say to specialize in dark triad pyschopathy but im wondering what that means in terms of like the general specializations in psychology( like clinical, cognitive, counseling, developmemtal, etc etc etc) which area or type of pyscholigst or practice etc would specalize specifically in psycopathy or dark triad? I imagine as broadly applicable/important fundamentals in any/all area but unclear where as exclusivley or primarily so?

i am a sociopath and i feel like the hardest thing for the suspect if in fact it is one of the "close circle" would be the constant rapid thoughts about what potential errors you made that could lead back to you and the worrying that every new piece of info is the begining of the trail that leads to you or that the bread crumbs are getting out of your own control. Though some people can manage their shedule in such a way that they can enter these deep self assesment which is almost trance like. but you can hide it from people and close off part of your mind at other times. now im not a mass murderer but im comparing to smaller situations. in the moment you can actually almost trick yourself into beleiving you feel bad and actually are sympathetic only to realise when you go deep to your inner dialouge that the actual truth is that every thought your having leads back to you. i feel like im quite inciteful for someone whos mind functions in this way. and yes i know sociopathy and psychopathy are different but still many similarities.

I agree with Orlando down there.... I don't think it's rational or even fair to assume they were killed because they were young, happy, or pretty. Maybe it is a reason why, but probably not the entire reason. Here's why- Its NEVER because of anything the victims have done or are. EVER! Its because the murderer is a DEVIANT freak psychopath who had a bloodlust and a real fkn problem with these people.
My number one suspect in this case would not have killed any of them for the reasons the OP wrote about, but, again, as i said its because they are incredibly insane and incredibly evil! Period!

5 myths about serial murder acording to FBI.
Myth #1: All Serial Killers Are Men.
Myth #2: All Serial Killers Are Caucasian.
Myth #3: All Serial Killers Are Isolated and Dysfunctional Loners.
Myth #4: All Serial Murderers Travel Widely and Kill Interstate.
Myth #5: All Serial Killers Are Either Mentally Ill Or Evil Geniuses.
Persistent misinformation, stereotypes and hyperbole presented in the media have combined to foster a number of popular myths about serial murder.
Based on recent FBI crime statistics, there are approximately 15,000 murders annually, 150 victims of serial murder in the U.S. in any given year. The FBI estimates that there are between twenty-five and fifty serial killers operating throughout the U.S. at any given time. If there are fifty, then each one is responsible for an average of three murders per year. Serial killers are always present in society.
If you are one of those people that still think real serial killers come across as socially awkward you really need to listen to the taped interviews of Gacy, Kemper, BTK, Bundy, especially Kemper.
There are lot of good docs and books about the ones they caught. I wish I had a nickel for every detective that said the thing that freaked them out the most, the thing that made their skin crawl even more than the horrific crime scenes, was just how affable, normal, often well spoken and downright ordinary these killers seemed during processing and in interviews. What is "the" serial killer personality type? Answer,....... there is no such thing.

One of the surviving roommates made entrance to the second floor and caught a small glimpse of the carnage. She ran outside where friends were on their way over to her, and she passed out from shock. One of the friends made the 911 call from her phone.

I heard this same story. I wonder if it’s true. I think details like who made the call & from whose phone it was is not important to “solving the crime.” I just believe people are in shock & they’re doing weird stuff because they’re in shock. For instance, I saw someone at a pharmacy collapse in the entryway, and I started telling people at the register to call 911. Later, I thought: “Why didn’t I call 911 with the cell phone in my pocket?”

@Elizabeth Purr ive often wondered if one of the 2nd floor victims made it out of the bedroom, to the common area & collapsed. So when going up to the kitchen they saw them and ran back down/outside. Since it seems odd to go in someones bedroom. Unless if they were super close or the door was left open.

We all have subjective theories conscious/subliminal which we fit facts too. Thus ignoring important facts that can lead to a resolution. Very interesting interview.
