Water Restock - Hauling water in the summer

- Water is the most important need we have on the homestead and as the seasons change so do the ways we bring it in. We are constantly adjusting our system and trying to improve how things are done as we get experience using our water setup on a daily basis.
We are still hopeful that one day we will get a well, but until that day we must be conscious of our water usages and mindful of the ways we haul and store them around the cabin.

Thanks for the video. That baby girl is sure precious!
Nice job on the plumbing. We hope you can get your well drilled. Use can use the time hauling water for a lot of other chores. Take care and all the best!
I’m so glad that things are going so well,I do hope you get water there soon!! Baby is adorable!!
Just a couple of suggestions to help you along. On thr type valves u r using if you are draining the line for winter, leave the valve half ways closed so it will not freeze the little bit of water that is trapped and break the valve, learne by experience. Also when using pvc cement twist the pirces that have glue to make sure u have a good seal.
Hi guys.Hope you can get a well this summer. Is the bridge just yours or do neighbors use it also? You could all work on fixing it. The baby is getting big already. She'd probably like being in one of those carriers on your chest. Have a good week.
It's funny that I was just thinking about you guys today and wondering how your water tank situation was going....then what a surprise when I looked and saw your new video pop up. So thankful that winter is over...for all of us!
The baby is really growing. So precious 🥰. Thanks for sharing today. Have a productive week. Take care✌️🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️
Rowan is absolutely adorable 🥰
Glad to see that it worked for water over the winter and that the washer is working out. I'm sure it was nice to just get all the blankets etc washed without dragging to town. Nice to see Rowan is such a good helper. And so beautiful at that. Great job as always. Stay strong and focused. 🎉
55 degrees, T shirt weather in Alaska. Here in GA it's a jacket day!
I'm glad things are working out! Will you fill the tank again to water the greenhouse with it? It would be great having it available.
Hope your plants all do good!
Praying y’all get a well this summer.
Been waiting for yawl. Bet you are glad to have the snow gone finally.
Thanks for bringing us along!
You guys are living the good life. I hope you can build a wood shed soon and fill it up so you'll have dry wood for the winter!
Amazing work as always
Love watching
good job
Thanks for sharing!
Hope you get some water there soon so that you dont have to have that big tank in the loft x
For the bridge do you think the tractor could lift the end up so you can build up with rocks and cement and then fill in with dirt and maybe make the top planks go about a foot longer on to the drive. Maybe worth adding another 4x4 and 1x10 to widen the bridge. Does that stream (creek/river) have fish? Can you canoe on it? B
You have any new news about your Well? When will they be able to come and finish or restart another hole soon?
Just wondering, have you double checked the support for the house under water tank? I know the ground can shift or settle after winter and that’s a heavy load upstairs. Guess it’s a little now, but safe than sorry. That sweet baby girl is really growing!
👍♥️
When my babies were born I was the one that was able to calm them and I did all the burping. Loved it even though I was Dad .
How do live without outside jobs? Also, where do you obtain health insurance?

Питання, чи будете ви робити ванну кімнату в домі???
Well update?
How deep is the frost line where you live? You'll have to put a pitless adapter at that level on your well casing and trench that deep to the house. Perhaps some heat tape for the end going into the house. But you don't have lectricity that you can spare. I think a heat tape uses something like 7 watts when running. And it will be running a lot up there. You probably be down into the permafrost. Wow.
I had a line freeze up at 36 inches in the Colorado rockies one winter and had to run black poly pipe through the trees until spring. It would thaw during the day and let me run what I needed after work but freeze solid overnight. I lived with that daily cycle for several months and it was a bite. I had a 10 gallon 120 volt hot water heater inside and ran a garden hose and nozzle outside to shower. I took 3 trees and made a shower stall by wrapping a canvas tarp around the trees for privacy. It was invigorating but it kept me clean. I also came across a wringer washer that I could use to wash all my clothes with one tub of water for wash and one for rinse. I'd start with the whites and work my way to the darks, then dump the water and fill again for a rinse. My water came from a sistern on the property that always had liquid at the bottom. It would freeze on top but it fed the pipe from underneath.
Life is an adventure when you live remote. I lived at 8800 ft elevation for 2 years from 1980 to 1982. We had snow on the 4th of July the last year I was there.
Good luck with it all.
it seems your sound is 'faint' or perhaps standing too far from the mic
Too bad you couldn’t use an Alaskan made tank.
