loved the 500x build video series, the piper j3 cub v4 video at first when I viewed the video some months back I thought she was a small nitro. the decal and aesthetics with the engine looks awesome, yes 1400mm is not a small plane for some reason she has that 900 - 1000 look to her. beautiful none the less. I do love a good rain out day, ample time to do all of the other items i usually procrastinate on. enjoyed the video. Good day to you Ian.

Aww thanks Jason, nice of you to say, I have bought myself an Align TB40 after watching your videos!! Although I must say the drive looks a bit over complicated at first but I just had to have the latest generation of a Trex!! Thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍

@@IansRCExploits the TB 40 is super easy, Main thing is framing it out and insuring it is all square. Pay attention on the section where it depicts squaring the frame up on a flat surface I think the manual said a sheet of glass. getting the tail boom in, belt on and keeping square. with the tension was teadiouse but smooth. the drive and main shaft no worries. it is a snug fit. it will feel tighter than the usual pinion gear to main gear set ups of the other models. the belt main and tail drive system. over all I love it. I will get the tb 60 around march. 💯. Thank you Ian.

I also want a scele J3 cub, and I think fms has the most reasonable option right now.

Another very enjoyable video, Ian! I completely empathise with your nervousness about flying the 2.0m D.H. Beaver.
I suffered the same with my first ST Discovery. Having been enticed back into the hobby by James May's Toy Story glider episode in 2012/13, I got this RTF trainer... unboxed it... put it together... and then put it back in the box, filed under "Well, that was a bad idea! Where am I going to fly it? It's HUGE!!! I can't fly that!" So it went into the loft for five years. I lost five years of flying and I kick myself now. These days, I just get stuck into it and what the Hell 😁

Yes, I agree Gina!! When I maidend the Beaver, I was completely overwhelmed by it's size 😒 But the last time I flew it, I thought, what a puppy 🤣
