UPDATE JUNE 15TH 2021 This video was created in 2014 as a personal project. I didn't mean for it to get big. I have two issues that everyone needs to be informed about: 1) To anyone saying I made this video for clickbait and that it isn't every stunt, I challenge you to make one better than this. Also, this was made in 2014, so any movies after was impossible to add to the compilation. Also, Jackie doesn't do any stunts anymore due to his old age (DUH!) 2) The UA-cam police are starting to attack me left, right and centre. I may end up blurring parts of the video, or adding custom audio tracks...or I may just delete the video. I didn't know that just by reviewing the video, I could have avoided copyright claims. It sucks because I could monetise this video and I had lined up more JC related videos. But the YT police are putting me off. A personal thank you to all who gave me the 3.4 million hits!

Prime Jackie Chan nothing was ever better then that for me, in the 80's/early 90's nothing could touch him. I still think the last 20 minutes of Police Story are just out of this world. What made it epic was the fact, he wasn't all superhero out you felt for his character, he was outnumbered but was trying everything to save the day . He was using everything to battle the odds. If it was a Bruce Lee film for example Lee wouldn't have allowed himself to look like that, he would have slaughtered everyone with one blow. ACtually it is used pretty many times ... Example would be for the Dragon balls scenes... you know when they kick and the other flies meters away ... etc.
oh wow Jackie has done some really crazy stuff... and unlike most actors, he actually did these stunts... much respect for this legendary stuntsman, comedian, actor, martial artist
Holy fuck. That stunt at 9:27 is insane. If he did that wrong he would of been crushed.. like seriously, i don't see the front of the vehicle being fake. Balls of steel.
The whole scene was done without permission so all the cars that pass by him are real. Ironically the one that hits him is his stuntman's. Jackie, after 3-4 failed attempts, yelled at his stuntman saying he won't have a family to feed if he doesn't hit him. That's how much of a perfectionist he is. In American films, if a star did that, that would be the highlight of the film and in slow motion. In this film, it's a 2 second clip that serves no real purpose other than to show how angry and daring Jackie is. And also, to show how nuts he is!
I actually meant the stunt after that, where the car was going down a tight allyway and it smashed into the wall. If that was genuinely real, which i'm unsure about.. then it would of killed him not just crushed him. Getting hit by a car in traffic is ballsy too though don't get me wrong.
My all time favorite stunt was the one from armour of God. I am surprised that he is still alive especially after that incident. And now, he had a fricken hole in his head. That proves it that he's a legend and he still does his own stunts at almost 65 years of age! Most people that age can't even walk! And he's totally healthy! He can move better than me. I read his memoir lately and he literally almost died from it. And he still does his own stunts after that happened. Anyway, I hope you all have a great day!
My favorite Jackie Chan stunts, oh boy, where to start: -Clock Tower drop (for confirming a Mythbusters myth BEFORE that movie episode came along, with all due respect to Adam, Jamie, Grant, Keri, and Tori) from Project A -Mall drop (all those lights and glass... damn) in Police Story 1 -The opening escape stunt in Armour of God I. -The building slide in Who Am I?
Every time I watch the building slide the fact that I know he is really doing it makes me fear for his life even though I know it ends well. I couldn't even stand on the spot where he jumped from and look down without my knees buckling and wanting to vomit. He willingly jumped multiple times. Even just going to the top of the Eiffel Tower was too much for me. I only did it because I promised some friends also afraid of heights that I'd do it if they did.
That's a lot of footage. I commend you on your efforts. There are some stunts left out that I think were worthy of having in there that you missed. Dragon Lord's final fight has a huge one where Jackie falls onto Mars which is just INSANE. City Hunter there's a fight scene that happens in a theatre as Game of Death plays - in that fight Jackie does a back 3/4 onto some theatre seating. Also in Shanghai Noon there's the piece on the train where all the logs gets released while Jackie is atop the pile. I would have also added the bit in Project A where Jackie is being held at gun point and the dude shoots the gun just missing Jackie's face. I think; maybe I'm wrong, but did Stanley Tong not take credit for the Jump from the Parking Garage to the Apartments in "Rumble in the Bronx"? Same goes with the jump from the helicopter in "First Strike". I believe that was also Stanley Tong. It was great taking a look back at some of these amazing scenes. Too bad there were no "Spiritual Kung Fu" or "Snake and Crane Arts of Shoalin" in there. I love those two movies. Hit back with a response dude. Would love to hear from ya.
Yeah! This is a good list DL. That one in Project A was a risky one... since blanks and gunshot effects can be lethal if any accidents happen. Seen Jackie talk about the jump in "Rumble in the Bronx" in depth, and he said that not only was it him, but it was the most frightened for his life that he had ever been. Hope I'm remembering that right, but my memory feels clear on it.
Incorrect. Stanley Tong did do the jump with a wire first to judge where to put the marker tape on the railing becuz there was no clear line of site from the launch point. He also adjusted the landing point on the balcony because the camera on the balcony site was not set back far enough and was knocked over the first time. Jackie successfully made the 2nd jump himself on the first try without a wire. He was reportedly paranoid about jumping with a wire due to power lines nearby. This was an accurate account as reported by the Canadian cast and crew who were present as well as confirmed by Stanley himself. Also, Jackie's ankle sustained a minor injury on this landing which was compounded by the hovercraft landing which trashed it.
Great job on this - I can easily see how long it must have taken to put together. Also those minor stunts you mentioned are quite often the most impressive ones. They kind of slip under the radar and other people never mention them... but they are often the hardest and most dangerous. So good job going above and beyond what most people would include in this kind of video; I got a kick out of it. =)
thank you very much. that's probably the best comment or review I've had. makes it all worth it now lol. I'm trying to think of what to make next. any ideas?
+R4M I would like to see the same kind of video but for Yuen Biao's sunts and acrobatics. There are a couple on UA-cam already but I bet there are a lot more things that no-one uses. It might a little harder to collect footage as Yuen Biao movies tend to be a little more obscure... but he has more than enough crazy moves to make for a great compilation. Or maybe you could mix it up and do a general best of HK movies' acrobatics and stunts (excluding Jackie)?

I always see buster Keaton stunts they were amazing , but i never saw any of his chase scene or Parkour scene

Chan says, "What's a stunt wire?"
he actually used a stunt wire in new police story 2004 in the fire rope scene
HeadPhoneMasa I imagine so, I suppose I'm generalizing.
HeadPhoneMasa hes growing old now..
makingjames Nobody gets younger.
ACtually it is used pretty many times ...
Example would be for the Dragon balls scenes... you know when they kick and the other flies meters away ... etc.
Jackie is the hero of my childhood *-* ♥♥ Love him
The parkour king
now i know there is a real superman in the world
I'm so proud I can say I've seen all the Supercops
except 2013 and new.
oh wow Jackie has done some really crazy stuff... and unlike most actors, he actually did these stunts... much respect for this legendary stuntsman, comedian, actor, martial artist
Rumble in the Bronx!!!
Operation Condor!!!
Jackie Chans FIRST STRIKE!!!
Are probably my top 3 favorite Jackie Chan movies
My all time favorite stunt was the one from armour of God. I am surprised that he is still alive especially after that incident. And now, he had a fricken hole in his head. That proves it that he's a legend and he still does his own stunts at almost 65 years of age! Most people that age can't even walk! And he's totally healthy! He can move better than me. I read his memoir lately and he literally almost died from it. And he still does his own stunts after that happened. Anyway, I hope you all have a great day!
Jackie is so amazing! His stunts scare the crap outta me haha
Extremely impressive work. Makes me relive so many memories.
my heart rate while watching this: 220
goosebumps: 1 million
This is parkour, before parkour
Jackie Chan is a living legend. Much respect for his insane skills, it's great fun to see him doing what he does.
What on earth is this man doing at 24:00, that is just insane, and far too close!! I can't help but wince every time I see it!
He is not on the tracks when the cars are running.
@@nomaschalupas2453 it's special effects?
@@catchasmurf762 the train and jackie are recorded at different times and then put together during editing.
Well that's a revelation, and one im not entirely pleased to hear, but thanks!
6:10 a whole new different meaning of that umbrella "made in China"
My favorite Jackie Chan stunts, oh boy, where to start:
-Clock Tower drop (for confirming a Mythbusters myth BEFORE that movie episode came along, with all due respect to Adam, Jamie, Grant, Keri, and Tori) from Project A
-Mall drop (all those lights and glass... damn) in Police Story 1
-The opening escape stunt in Armour of God I.
2:01 "Hey Batman, come on!"
all you 80 giving thumbs down are just jealous you cant do what he can.
***** That jump was actually performed by Stanley Tong because Jackie had injured his foot prior before that scene
Also, Jackie's ankle sustained a minor injury on this landing which was compounded by the hovercraft landing which trashed it.
last words Jackie said ("But don't worry. I do crazy stunts but I am not stupid") are relieving
I'm trying to think of what to make next. any ideas?
+R4M I would like to see a top 10 list of Jackiie Chan fights or moments
+R4M I would like to see the same kind of video but for Yuen Biao's sunts and acrobatics. There are a couple on UA-cam already but I bet there are a lot more things that no-one uses. It might a little harder to collect footage as Yuen Biao movies tend to be a little more obscure... but he has more than enough crazy moves to make for a great compilation. Or maybe you could mix it up and do a general best of HK movies' acrobatics and stunts (excluding Jackie)?
I laughed pretty hard at the one where the entire screen is blurred over.
what a legend!
need more views. An amazing fearless actor. Great video.
GreekCthulhu Thanks! Keep sharing!
16:05 he breaks his foot.
This is by far the Most awesome compilation of Jackie's Stunt I've ever seen!!!!
Jackie Chan is Superhero!! not just a hero!!
Superb! Thanks for adding the titles and keeping original audio!
Yahwehlovesme You're welcome. It was hardwork!
I think only some have titles
No wonder he broken most of his bones in his body
Godamed ....Jackie is the absolute best, hands down!
