- Reviewing Dymo Labelmanager 160.
Here is a link where I bought the labelmanager in the Netherlands:
www.123inkt.nl...
You can also buy it in a lot of different other (web)shops. Like amazone:
www.amazon.com...
The compatible tapes, you can find on AliExpress. Here is a link to the Cidy brand tapes:
nl.aliexpress....
This is the best video on how to use this label maker. I keep coming back. Thanks!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for using this machine to let us hear what it sounds like when printing off.
The ASMR is strong with this one.
Thanks for the illustration of the machine, I just bought one.
I paid only $15 for a very good power adapter from Amazon which is likely about the same cost as one set of 6 AA batteries. Recommended.
It’s 9V 2A? Right?
Voltage amperage?
Sorry, I just saw these comments. I’ll look and post it soon.
The power adapter I bought was a Molshine ac/dc power adapter, model PO- AD24, 9V2A.
Heel duidelijk
Excellent video I have using Dymo LetraTag LT-100H for the last 10 years and now looking to replace this with either Dymo LabelManager 160 or 280. Now I need to watch a video on the Dymo LabelManager 280 model to see if its worth paying the extra money for a 280 model
This was the best video on how to use this thing. I've had mine for a long time, but today I needed dollar signs and decimal points! I was going to put a thumbs down on another video, but I thought I'd be more positive and give you a thumbs up. Thanks for posting it.
Thank you very much for your nice comment!
That helped me a lot!
Very lightweight. Seems to be good product
Unfortunately set of very often used signs like - + / \ ( ) > are not directly accessable. You should press several buttons to get the "-". writing part number of connectors like S9B-PH-SM4-TB(LF)(SN) become a nightmare ....
Yes that's difficult to use with this labeler. I don't know why they do it like this.
I have the same dymo but 8ts not printing anything when I'm running it. What should be the problem?
Is there a way to clear the last label without backstepping through each letter?
No, i tried it but you can only clear the label by backstepping each letter.
Did you ever find a way to do this? I've been looking but can't find a way to do this.
@@joandowney3190 There's no direct way sorry to say it's a design flaw. There is a workaround if the text is really long. Turn the machine off. Then hold backspace and numeral 9 together and switch the machine back on. This causes a 'reset' and clears the memory. You may then have to press the return arrow key a couple of times to clear the language tags. It's all bit of a pain but there it is. Regards P
Mine is printing blank do you know the problem could be?
Has anyone used the 6mm tape with the dymo 160 either original or cidy? Is there a clear cidy tape?
I didn't use the 6mm tape, only the 9 and 12 mm tapes. The ones from Cidy are good, but i tried also from Unistar and Labelzone and they are also very fine. You can find the shops on aliexpress. There is a clear tape, black on clear, from Cidy and also the other stores.
Can you feed more blank label through before cutting it off, so it can be folded around a cable and stuck back on itself? Like a bread bag tie sticker thingy.
No, there's no function for manual feeding.
I believe you can tap the to gain more blank space
Space bar...LOL
@@pommom67maga71 Thanks for the tip! But I tried it and it was working when you use 1 line only. If you use 2 lines of text than the text is not centrated anymore.
Does anybody knows the difference between the 160 and 160e?
What is the stickiness of the tape like? Does it stick on and stay on well or do they start to peel after some time?
The tape stills stay on after 6 months. I use it for different materials. Like on paper or plastic.
Jeroens Gadgets thanks! I’ve ordered mine today 😊
@@jeroensgadgets4582 Does the original/cidy tape stick on different materials forever? How long did it stick on your surface, I think now is over 2 years already? Do you need to replace ink? Does the ink fade after sometime? Thanks
Is the CIDY still better? and does it stick as good as the original DYMO?
The CIDY label is as good as the original for me. It's only a lot cheaper than the original.
Great video 👍. Please demonstrate the (pt) it was easy to figure out. Though a demo would be a👍. Thank you. It was easier to operate then my Stupid/smart phone 🤣🤣.
Thanks! What do you mean with demonstrate the pt?
My label doesn’t print or come out when cut. What am I doing wrong?
Did you check the tape already? If it doesn't come out it can be the tape.
Hi, how to write the letter ñ o Ñ ?
My Dymo printer worked well until i tried to use an adaptor. Now i get a message ... ww-err: Flash!...... What do I do now?
Did you use the right power adapter? Maybe it's damaged. Did you try to use batteries again?
Its 9V 2A adapter. Never use adapter which is more than 9V. Your adapter must be 2A or more.
Don't use non- original with Dymo cause it will damage your machine after a few use, it happen with me .
Strange, i use it for more than a year almost daily with non original Dymo tape. Still no problems.
how well do the labels stick? Do they come off over time???
Hi, I'm still using the one from the brand called Cidy, and they are perfect. I use them on paper and plastic materials. Even outside on plastic material in the sun and rain, they don't fade or come off.
@@jeroensgadgets4582 Thanks very much for your super prompt response! :)
@@abctheater829 You are welcome.
Do u have to peel off the back when it comes out?
Yes, you have to peel it off it the middle. So when you fold it a little, you can easy peel it off.
My labels will not go any higher than 12 now, don't why?? Can you help me with this?
Is it possible that you used a second line? Than you can only use 12. Also if you insert a 6 or 9 mm tapes you can not use 24. Try to clear everything and type again. I hope it works.
At least the DYMO is making honest money. I would say that the Chinese brand is destroying your own economy. Nice explanation till the Chinese advertising.
Hi,i tried to change units but couldnt find the option, have only inches, any advice?
