    I bought mine thru cycle solutions with mt 2018 RGS and they premapped it. I had no issues at all with mine. I will def be buying one for my 2023 lowrider st soon 😊

    I was, at Thundermax dealer training last Thursday and Friday. They were talking about your bike in class. They really wanted to get your bike and find out what was going on. I will let you know if I found out what it was.

      Interesting. Yes, it's a weird one for sure. I hope they fix it - I'll be checking in with them periodically to see how things are going. If they want to send me one to test and if it works, I'll happily rebuy if they fix this issue...whatever it is.

      I didn't. I just installed a CR483 cam and had it PV dyno tuned. (Videos on the channel). After watching the dyno process I'm convinced that there's absolutely no better way to get the most out of your bike while also ensuring that it runs properly across every RPM/throttle setting possible.

      @MotoATX my 2023lowriderST I just did the star 3030 cam and had PV and dyno tuned got 121 and 133 and could've gotten more I told him to just keep it conservative I'm not racing it. He said could've got more if he'd squeezed it more lol. Lol

      Best of luck to you. After finding an awesome tuner in my area and having a long discussion(s) on this topic...I'm VERY glad that I ended up just doing PowerVision and skipping the TMax. When you watch someone tune your bike, especially with some context as they are telling you what they are doing manually vs what the 'auto tuning' capabilities can do on these devices, you'll quickly see that just relying on the auto tuning features alone might not be the best idea. I know there are a lot of folks that use Tmax and swear by it - and I'm not going to argue with them. I would simply say that even with one, you're better off finding someone who actually knows how to tune a bike and then use the auto tuning features to fine tune from there. Best of luck to you man - hope you get it squared away. My issue just proves that these bikes are all different and you never know what gremlin is going to get you.

    This is disheartening. I was thinking to do the exact same. Get the SPC big bore and a ThunderMax for my 22 Low Rider S. Are you rolling with no tune at all with the SPC right now? No issues?

      I'm in several FXLRST groups with folks running the same or similar setup - no idea why my bike is different. Only things not stock are the 2-1 pipe and my LP4 light up front and LED replacement light in the back. Neither of them, according to the support folks anyway, should have anything to do with this issue. But yes, for now I'm just running with no tune. Not ideal, but the bike does run great...get some decel pops from time to time but that's to be expected...

    Yea anything electrical can be a pain

    • @MotoATX
      @MotoATX  7 місяців тому

      yeah no idea what was going on with this one - assume it was something electrical but who knows honestly. I know they really wanted to figure it out but in the end I feel like using powervision and getting my bike dyno tuned was the better solution anyway...
