    Exhausting! I downsized and happy. Less to clean, dust scrub, repair. You just get tired. Let go people of your stuff. It gets easier believe me.

    I can relate to what they are saying about looking at their things and having wonderful memories attached to them. You feel like if you get rid of them, you will forget or erase parts of your life or your loved one’s life. Great interview and i’m glad they like their new home.

    Downsizing is the BEST thing we have ever done and we are only in our 50s. I say start in your 20s....don't accumulate. It cost to drag stuff around if one needs to move. One needs more space for more stuff...hence more cost. The more things one has the more to clean...but that's our experience :)

    Kids prefer (crappy) Target and/or Ikea.

    We had 6 dumpster loads.
