You can control direction without paddling?
Apart from the locking rudder control and the deck grips, what else is different on the 2020 Predator PDL compared to the previous version? The Hull looks the same and I see only a slight difference in the mounting strips and of course the latest PDL hatch is rectangular rather than circular. Am I correct in thinking old town haven't changed the hull on the 2020 version?
OT Predators are now discontinued by Old Town, but I am thinking or taking a new boat but its the older, original version of the Predator PDL.

I must say that Old Town Predator Kayak is a very amazing piece of engineering. I like the assortment of handy storage compartments. I see it has great pedaling speed and also looks unsinkable because of the hollow body frame. Now I like fishing in the sea. And the Old Town Predator looks ideal for sea angling as well as other kinds of recreational water usage.........Yakin with Jack, thank you very much for making and posting this video on the rundown and demonstration of this impressive Kayak. Yes this kayak is very impressive. Also it is a awesome kayak for the sea. That’s what I mainly fish in spring till fall. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽
I think I'd like something a little faster vs. the ultra-stable barges we've been seeing. It is nice we have so many choices these days.

A great kayak for the money, the secondary stability is good. I have landed 2 big sharks off mine one being over 9ft and about two -three hundred pounds with no problem with turning it over. No problems with the drive either.
I like the looks and speed of this, but I need more stability. Thanks for your review!

can you car top this kayak on roof racks? how much does it weigh without the pedal drive?
I believe it weighs 98 pounds without the pedal drive not 100% sure. My buddy car tops his in his Tahoe
