its a shame really with these comments that catholicism is dying out what is really wrong with it. I can agree that there was a lot of badness in the church in the past and this day and age they are changing with the times. God is always here. He does not leave you or I. I have the experience of Jesus. I was brought up a Catholic and it was in my mid 20s to late 30s I faded away from it. It was when I was reading up on my faith I realised that I need to invite Jesus in my life and luckily have seen him twice, I do ministry and prolife and I find the people of Ireland are losing their faith due to the slowness of the church. We need the youth to be out there helping in the church inside and out. We need more connection within the community. There is this misconception that God does not exist and there are those who attend mass and still have doubts about the afterlife. But I have also found there are a lot who have faith and even though they find the church and its teachings old fashioned they still believe in God.
