Mostly about Tokyo and what I’ve acquired due to my love of Japan (we spent a summer there for my husband’s job and now go back every year) when the LV x YK collaboration came out in 2023 I had already been a fan of hers and visited her museum in Tokyo a few times and own some of her museum prints and books so I did get 3 bags from
That collection….that I’ve yet to use. They’re sitting in the dust bags in the master closet. I’m just too afraid to use them after I had a brand new (like 3 months old) Graceful pm handle get ruined in the rain. It cost me $395 to have LV replace it. So, vintage? PERFECT for every day!! As soon as I saw this bag I knew i had to buy it and I dont even buy red bags, i usually stay away from them but this is a darker red on the burgandy side. I will have more vintage bally unboxings to come. One coming in a few hours and some more later in a few weeks!

Happy birthday! What a wonderful find! I guessed the price as $240-you got a great deal. I collect vintage bags and have several Bally purses. They are true luxury quality and they age extremely well. Some of mine are Chanel alternatives-single flap, double flap, and tote style. Bally’s quilting is quite intricate; to my eye it surpasses Chanel in beauty. For vintage true luxury at amazing value, I also like Ferragamo and Mark Cross.

I have two vintage Bally Kellys (one box calf, one croc) and they are honestly two of the most gorgeous things I own. I actually sold my Hermès Kelly, in part because I used the Ballys so much more.
Hello! Oh I would love a croc one! I'll be on the look out for that! They are so gorgeous I should have collected these bags sooner! I also dont feel like I need to baby the bag either I can just enjoy the beauty AND the use of the bag freely!
❤ The back slip pocket makes the deal even sweeter in my opinion. I wish the Kelly/Birkin had pockets on the outside for the convenience. I also found a vintage Salvatore Ferragamo Gancini lock top handle in red and it looks just like a Kelly to me with less fuss to get inside the bag I will definitely look for your bag in a neutral color though! 😉 Happy Fourth of July 🎇
Hello! Yes I love that it has a back pocket! It is very small though, my cardholder just fits in there and i can shove my phone in there vertically but over half the phone is sticking out and even sticking up higher than the bag itself so not very secure for the phone. But yes i love that its such a realistically priced alternative to the kelly! I find the closure not as annoying as i thought as compared to when I was test driving the unbranded dupe for the Hermes mini kelly!

Hello! Im not really a tote person, I only use them on the odd occasion but Mui Mui seems to be making a bit of a resurrgence and theres lots of different styles of preloved Mui Mui totes that are very reasonably priced.
