  • Are you looking to grow fresh vegetables during the fall and winter months? In this video, I share my experience growing cold-hardy veggies like carrots, garlic, spinach, and kale in my garden. Watch as I show the process of germinating seeds using an egg carton and why I decided to plant directly into the garden bed for better results.
I explain how carrots are frost-resistant, making them ideal for winter gardening, and why using hay over your garlic and carrot beds can help with moisture retention and temperature control. Learn how these methods can help you successfully grow your own winter garden.
If you’re interested in growing vegetables in colder weather, don’t forget to hit the like button and share your own gardening tips in the comments! Let’s inspire each other to grow more all year round.

I have my lemon mini trees set for the winter transition, luckily I have an enclosed sunroom for my plants to survive the frost.

That’s awesome! Perfect to have some space inside to keep the plants warm and growing! 🪴
