Just played this last night with my wife and a couple friends. We had such an awesome time with it even though my shakiness caused a giant mess atleast 3 times 😂
Hi Kane! I own more than 500 games. When I'm asked which game has brought the most exciting moments to my family, Flip Ships instantly comes top of my mind. Thank you for bringing so much joy to all of us! 🙂
So happy to see the love for Flip Ships, my #1 dexterity game by a mile and even in my top 10 games. A blast to play with kids, grand-parents, friends, you name it! So much tension and encouragement between players in this game.
Such a big fan of your top 10’s! I appreciate the group dynamics too, Camilla brings a different energy and chris is just so genuinely happy during these top 10’s! It’s a nice grouping that feels totally different than the normal pairing of Mike and zee alongside Tom!
Surprised that there was no Ice Cool or Rhino Hero entry on these lists. When my kids were younger, I'd put together a new Pitch Car track up on the dining room table (or pool table) every Christmas Eve before before going to bed so it was there Christmas morning and that's the way we'd start the holiday. Haven't played Pitch Car for a couple years and am moving. Thought I might sell it all on ebay before the move, but no. I'll keep it for the grandkids or maybe to be a big shot with a new gaming group in the new location.
One very overlooked dexterity game is The Climbers! I love it! Also , Men at Work. Wonky is great for getting non gamers to play, but sadly out of print . Great video guys!!!
Before you mentioned Tumblin’ Dice, I actually said out loud to myself that my #1 is Tumblin’ Dice and how did they sleep on that! It’s so good. We just got Strike this Xmas and already have played it like 30 times. So fun. We also love Ice Cool and Meeple Circus. Always looking for another great one for my family.
Yeah, it's one of the top ranked 'Action/Dexterity' games and the best ranked ''Stacking and Balancing' game on BGG. Surprised I'm not seeing it mentioned more in the comments.
Love me a dexterity game. I would have KLASK, Tumblin' Dice, Drop It, Crokinole, KLASK 4, BONK, Viking See Saw, Riff Raff, Dr Eureka, Go Go Gelato, Hamsterolle, Ice Cool all on my list.
Some other fantastic dexterity games: Klask, Kluster, Passe Trappe and Set&Match. Set&Match is Tennis, the board game - but I do think you have to like tennis to like this game. Klask and Passe Trappe are just fantastic fun and fast paced alternatives to Air Hockey, and Kluster is a very simple (you can explain the rules in 5 seconds) but at the same time very fun, tense and exiciting quick little game.
I can understand why it didn't make y'all's lists, but one of my favorites to introduce to new people is Meeple Circus. I just love watching people stressfully stack elephant meeples to circus music. Other faves include Klask, Paku Paku, Suspend. High on my list of ones I want to try are Crokinole and Crash Octopus.
Tom: You mentioned throwing RPG players at Dungeon Fighter, but there is actually a TTRPG based on the Dungeon Fighter system that will be releasing fairly soon. The digital book was recently released to backers and I ran a 1-shot with my kids. They loved it. It's completely insane, and also really fun.
I hope that Catacombs II, soon to launch on Gamefound, turns out to be good. I like the idea of a dungeon crawl requiring some dexterity from us tabletop warriors. 😅 Cheers, ☕️
Tom (or whatever DT staff reads this if any) have you considered commissioning a Spinball set from the crafter who made the Chutes and Marbles board? (Woodfish toys iirc?) If anyone can make one I think he'd be able to! My number one is Hibachi, I love the combination of dexterity and bidding even if it's a bit fiddly. But I totally agree with Sonora, Kabuto Sumo and Tokyo Highway! I really like when dexterity games combine with other, more "gamery" genres.
My own top ten dexterity games. 1. Kick it: Das Spiel 2. Escape: The Curse of the Temple 3. Tier auf Tier (aka Animal Upon Animal) 4. Hüpf hüpf, Hurra! (aka Hop Hop Hooray!) 5. A la carte 6. Tier auf Tier: Das Duell 7. Crokinole 8. Meeple Circus 9. Le Passe-Trappe 10. Gulo Gulo
Drop It is one that we play. It's one of the few games my 10-year old actually likes and I believe it's good at developing spatial awareness and problem-solving. I love it when games exercise the brain. Having said that, I really want to find a copy of Pitch Car because it looks like big dumb fun!
I wouldn't overlook Pitch Car Mini if you only have a limited table space, you can set up some intricate tracks and I feel like that is great for younger players as flicking too hard can be an issue which is more of a problem for the adults
I tried Sonora at Origins this year after hearing about it in another video. It was fun at two players, but I'm curious to see how chaotic it can get with four.
17:02 Camilla channeling her inner Super Smash Bros. Character.. ua-cam.com/video/TgEyHwqn3Yc/v-deo.html for all who want to have a blast from the past. ^^
When you were talking about Crokinole, I think you mentioned Carrom. That’s definitely not how you pronounce that game. Carrom has large tournaments especially in Far Eastern countries. Pretty cool game on larger boards/tables.
Can confirm the "Pirate Billiards" is super fun! We played it at DTE every day several times, and did play many 'actual' games if it! My bro in law is now seeking to acquire one from Germany!
Flipships is so superior to Space Invaders. The little catapult in Space Invaders ruins it. You can’t get a good feel with it. You can really improve and get precise with Flipships.
I wouldn't argue against it, but I didn't count it for my list because the action/dexterity parts are not the main driver of the game. Super fun game, though!
Kitchen Rush > Rush MD for me, the dexterity gimmicks just went a bit too far in MD to the point where I don't enjoy the experience. In Kitchen Rush the dexterity gimmicks feels more focused and you don't have as much of them to remember. I feel MD wanted to be more accessible but went too far with the gimmicks (which are fun to be fair), but there's just too much of them on top of everything else that's happenning in the game. Not a bad game, but not above Kitchen Rush in my book :)
Rush M.D. doesn't kill Kitchen Rush at all, they're different enough D=. Besides, Rush M.D. is way easier, which makes it less fun than Kitchen Rush 😔.
Camila rocked this list (for me haha). So many crossovers. Probably because I love co-op dexterity. My top 5 were all crossovers. Rush MD, For Science, Space Invaders, Fuse, and Menara are all fantastic. Also - Kane Klenko is a treasure.
@mike!!! Ya see my wife at Starbucks. You hang with the same friends (hi Lizzy, Tom, Andrew, Mike, and huh great people at my etc my wedding day…) Oh yeah that guy Conor❤ Viking sea saw and this bowling game… hmmmm. Ya wanna ever call me? Yes! Ok great. Hopefully this makes some more opportunities to be with Mark and his huge family, Lizzy and her husband’s tribez, Mike maybe…. Dice tower I did an interview of… lovely men and women❤
No love for Men at Work? The little meeples with yellow hard hats are so darned cute! Great table presence, too.
Just played this last night with my wife and a couple friends. We had such an awesome time with it even though my shakiness caused a giant mess atleast 3 times 😂
Thanks for the Flip Ships and FUSE love!
Love all your real time/dexterity games I've played. Thanks for making them! 😌.
Hi Kane! I own more than 500 games. When I'm asked which game has brought the most exciting moments to my family, Flip Ships instantly comes top of my mind. Thank you for bringing so much joy to all of us! 🙂
Chris is so eurogamery, that even his dexterity game is pushing cubes (kabuto sumo)
So happy to see the love for Flip Ships, my #1 dexterity game by a mile and even in my top 10 games. A blast to play with kids, grand-parents, friends, you name it! So much tension and encouragement between players in this game.
"I've seen Popsicle sticks." Best quote of the whole show! hahahahaha
Chris FTW with the GIFs!
My #1 Junkart
Such a big fan of your top 10’s!
I appreciate the group dynamics too, Camilla brings a different energy and chris is just so genuinely happy during these top 10’s! It’s a nice grouping that feels totally different than the normal pairing of Mike and zee alongside Tom!

Early into the video but I have to thank Mike for Viking See-Saw, everyone I have played with loves that game. EVERYONE!!
Y’all covered most of my top 10, including the hidden gem Bonk! I would have also included Junk Art, Klask, and Flick of Faith.
Junk Art is my favorite dexterity game!
Tom is not sitting in the middle... I am freaking out!!!
One very overlooked dexterity game is The Climbers! I love it! Also , Men at Work. Wonky is great for getting non gamers to play, but sadly out of print . Great video guys!!!
The thunder really gives this video some atmosphere.
Love the Flip Ships and Sonora love. Two of my favorites. IceCool, though, I’m surprised didn’t make any lists.
I found your background thunder storm very relaxing. You should summon more storms for your videos ⛈
I was able to pick up Tokyo Highway online for 20 dollars about a month ago!!
I am shocked junk art wasnt chosen, i thought that was much more popular.
Yeah, it's one of the top ranked 'Action/Dexterity' games and the best ranked ''Stacking and Balancing' game on BGG. Surprised I'm not seeing it mentioned more in the comments.
Colour me shocked as well. When it kept not appearing, I thought, “Ah, *obviously* it will be someone’s number one.” The wooden version especially!
Love me a dexterity game. I would have KLASK, Tumblin' Dice, Drop It, Crokinole, KLASK 4, BONK, Viking See Saw, Riff Raff, Dr Eureka, Go Go Gelato, Hamsterolle, Ice Cool all on my list.

Love the list, havent played a lot dexterity game but my top 3 is Rhino Hero SUper Battle, Tumblein Dice, and Klask
Junk Art gets a lot of play at our house
Definitely Ice Cool at number one for me
I can understand why it didn't make y'all's lists, but one of my favorites to introduce to new people is Meeple Circus. I just love watching people stressfully stack elephant meeples to circus music.
Other faves include Klask, Paku Paku, Suspend. High on my list of ones I want to try are Crokinole and Crash Octopus.
Not Hot Wheels.. but Crash Canyon had Micro Machines. It was a blast as a kid. I've been begging Restoration to bring it back to life for years!
@tomvasel we use a pool/dining table as our gaming, it is literally the best.
That's amazing what is it called?
Omg what's it called? Would LOVE to add it to my ttrpg collection!
I think the game in reference is: One More Quest - a dexterity comedy RPG.
@@hanseathl That's the one! Thanks for covering it. I thought I had replied to this thread, but it appears to be gone.
Set & Match is a hidden gem with the caveat of the large board version compared to the smaller retail version.
I hope that Catacombs II, soon to launch on Gamefound, turns out to be good. I like the idea of a dungeon crawl requiring some dexterity from us tabletop warriors. 😅
Cheers, ☕️
Strong Stuff is GOATED! I love using it when I have drunk cousins and their young kids around.
I know Tokyo Highway was checked out at least once at DTE, cause we checked it out. 😂
The Game is called in Germany "Rumms - Schnipp die Krone" for 23 € by KOSMOS
Carrooka is amazing as well 😍
Tom (or whatever DT staff reads this if any) have you considered commissioning a Spinball set from the crafter who made the Chutes and Marbles board? (Woodfish toys iirc?) If anyone can make one I think he'd be able to!
My number one is Hibachi, I love the combination of dexterity and bidding even if it's a bit fiddly. But I totally agree with Sonora, Kabuto Sumo and Tokyo Highway! I really like when dexterity games combine with other, more "gamery" genres.
My favorite dexterity game is Dungeon Fighter.
My own top ten dexterity games.
1. Kick it: Das Spiel
2. Escape: The Curse of the Temple
3. Tier auf Tier (aka Animal Upon Animal)
4. Hüpf hüpf, Hurra! (aka Hop Hop Hooray!)
5. A la carte
6. Tier auf Tier: Das Duell
7. Crokinole
8. Meeple Circus
9. Le Passe-Trappe
10. Gulo Gulo
slide quest looks fun 🤩
No Rhino Hero Super Battle, aw such a great dexterity game noone had in their top 10
I'd check out RoadZters - it's Spinball meets PitchCar
No Klask in this?
Drop It is one that we play. It's one of the few games my 10-year old actually likes and I believe it's good at developing spatial awareness and problem-solving. I love it when games exercise the brain.
Having said that, I really want to find a copy of Pitch Car because it looks like big dumb fun!
I wouldn't overlook Pitch Car Mini if you only have a limited table space, you can set up some intricate tracks and I feel like that is great for younger players as flicking too hard can be an issue which is more of a problem for the adults
Underrated and unknow but my favorite is plakks. Even if you do not like soccer it is always a top game when I introduce people.
No love for Tumblin Dice?
I tried Sonora at Origins this year after hearing about it in another video. It was fun at two players, but I'm curious to see how chaotic it can get with four.
The only reason I own Cube Quest is because I saw Tom playing it with his kids years ago on a Dice Tower video and wanted to try it with my kids.
Mike mike mike mike mike!
Really hope the Publishers of some of these games are watching and do reprints
As so many have said, not seeing Klask on anyone’s list is a bit of a shock.
Tom was on fire with the jokes for this video 😂 Zee better watch out as comedian of the channel
You shoud do a Top 10 Games that need to be remade/re-edited list. And make that list yearly so publishers have a list to look at
Pause and 48:28 You can thank me later ! 😂
That has to be put in the End of the Year Highlights, just replay that clip over and over...😄😄
If someone could share the link to the 2023 printing of Cube Quest here, I'd be mighty grateful! I tried looking it up and couldn't find it.
I think they were referring to Rumms Second Edition, which came out in 2021. It's on BGG in the versions section of Cube Quest
@@ChrisHathaway - Found it. Thank you!
How did Ice Cool, Klask, and Rhino Hero not make anyone's list?
Because there are that many amazing dexterity games.
Love and have Cube quest and it’s amazing
What is this cool new Lord of the Rings-themed Dice Tower music at the end?! 😮
Is catapult kingdoms just a reSkin of the legendary Crossbows and Catapults?
Need a Mike DiLiso response
17:02 Camilla channeling her inner Super Smash Bros. Character..
ua-cam.com/video/TgEyHwqn3Yc/v-deo.html for all who want to have a blast from the past. ^^
Gaslands has Hot Wheels!
That’s exactly what I was thinking when they mentioned hot wheels.
44:10 what the heck, Mike!? 😂😂😂😂😂
Spin all is so niche that I can’t find a video of it being played at all 😆
The best dexterity tabletop game ever created is futebol de botão.
I'm fine with ruining Chrises list. I'm fine with ruining anything.😂😂
I don't get it, is PitchCar a stacking game?
I saw people playing Piratenbilliard and had no idea what was happening lol
If only there was a thunder clap after every number and everyone laughed like Count Von Count.
You need to check out Riff Raff one of my favorite dexterity games
When you were talking about Crokinole, I think you mentioned Carrom. That’s definitely not how you pronounce that game. Carrom has large tournaments especially in Far Eastern countries. Pretty cool game on larger boards/tables.
No Klask? :o
And Mike is no longer with the DiceTower... 😂
Carrooka should be on a list. It’s up there with crokinole.
Can confirm the "Pirate Billiards" is super fun! We played it at DTE every day several times, and did play many 'actual' games if it! My bro in law is now seeking to acquire one from Germany!
Strong stuff looks like you will be using more lower arm muscle than in Jenga.
No love for Klask?
the dice hammer!! I bet DT can raise zillions $ if replicas are on sale on the next KS 😮 🤑 🎲🗼
Flipships is so superior to Space Invaders. The little catapult in Space Invaders ruins it. You can’t get a good feel with it. You can really improve and get precise with Flipships.
No icecool? 😢
It seems kind of inconsistent to say Pirate Billiards is a 'board game' but regular billiards isn't.
so scary to hear the roars outside.
Camilla is so funny in this video
Would Dodos Riding Dinos qualify?
I wouldn't argue against it, but I didn't count it for my list because the action/dexterity parts are not the main driver of the game. Super fun game, though!
Pitchcar
Ice cool 1 and 2 combined FTW
Ice Cool
Kitchen Rush > Rush MD for me, the dexterity gimmicks just went a bit too far in MD to the point where I don't enjoy the experience. In Kitchen Rush the dexterity gimmicks feels more focused and you don't have as much of them to remember. Not a bad game, but not above Kitchen Rush in my book :)
Cube Quest is better played with dice anyways, as the cubes were too flimsy. Just download the rules and make 4 5 6 hits or whatever
Riff Raff
Rush M.D. doesn't kill Kitchen Rush at all, they're different enough D=.
Besides, Rush M.D. is way easier, which makes it less fun than Kitchen Rush 😔.
So it's like Jenda.
Carcassone:The Catapult?
It wouldn't be fair for a single game to sweep best dexterity game, best euro, and best expansion all at once. They had to leave it out for fairness.
Camilla is so smart! 😂👍
no love for Dodos Riding Dinos? :(
Camila rocked this list (for me haha). So many crossovers.
Probably because I love co-op dexterity.
My top 5 were all crossovers. Rush MD, For Science, Space Invaders, Fuse, and Menara are all fantastic.
Also - Kane Klenko is a treasure.
Can use Hot Wheels cars to play Gaslands
Weapons and warriors was so much better than the new production catapult blow up the fort games
Kung Fu Zoo = Carrom + Dice
I have to disagree with Tom. Rush MD is es cool game, but for me Kitchen Rush is better in the long run. It is much more focused.
Come on, where's Klask ?!
@mike!!!
Ya see my wife at Starbucks. You hang with the same friends (hi Lizzy, Tom, Andrew, Mike, and huh great people at my etc my wedding day…)
Oh yeah that guy Conor❤
Viking sea saw and this bowling game… hmmmm.
Ya wanna ever call me? Yes! Ok great. Hopefully this makes some more opportunities to be with Mark and his huge family, Lizzy and her husband’s tribez, Mike maybe…. Dice tower I did an interview of… lovely men and women❤
