OK...trains, trains and trains on a train holiday. A stalled construction project. The construction of beautiful Bonnet Springs Park. The construction of yet more condos from hell. Pizza for dinner ( which I, coincidentally, had tonight). And a Mungo Jerry, Hall and Oates, Box Tops medley. What's missin'? Not a thing, man...good stuff!👍
I’d say that’s a much more concise summary than my 33 minutes of mumble jumble…just about sums it up my friend. Had a bit of fun with this one, so very nice to hear all of that. Till’ next time! I’ll make sure there’s more pizza.
@@kotabeaner last weekend I went to Lakeland connection and I go to catch CSX trains M457 M604 L772 and Amtrak Silver Star P091 which had the Phase 1 heritage locomotive as the trailing unit
@@kotabeaner did you see the video of when I went to Lakeland connection? The CSX trains I saw there were: M457 M604 L772 and I also saw Amtrak P091 which had P42DC 161 ( Phase 1 heritage locomotive ) as the trailing locomotive
Much appreciated! For better or worse, yeah, we all knew it was coming. Alas, I’m out so little now, that I am just now hearing about it. Either way, expect this same turn of events in another year or so…like people, those two trains just seem to come and go.
I hey koatabeanner I saw csx1869 in folkston georgia it was cool and In way cross georgia and saw all the csx train in side the yard and saw the ocs train in waycross
Thank You! I imagine we may in due time. I’m always meeting new people. I work the train at our museum basically every Saturday, so that there is always an option.
That ain’t nothing, friend. Try 2016 - 18. In those years, I experienced quite a few treasures we won’t see anymore. Even then, I missed out on nearly a decade of what many consider the railroad’s prime. I’d try best to make the most of what we’ve got now though, because in another 2-5 years, you’ll be making that comment all over again. We all will.
@@kotabeaner excellent point. Although I lived in PA during that 2016-2018 timeframe I wish I was down here to see it. I can’t imagine chasing 10+ trains in daylight hours on the S-line, would be a dream. It’s a sad reality how corporate the railroads seem to be now and saving money takes priority over everything else even if it comes to screwing their own crews over. I have hope for the future but like you said, we probably will look back on these days and say “we had it good”
I would comment something, but RailfanBrettRailfanning took the words right out of my mouth
This should be pinned twice.
The solo at the start had me dying 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭
Awesome video Dakota enjoyed it every signal bit of it
Highball! Thank you sir. Always appreciated.
Great park coverage I didn’t realize it had that much stuff to do either. Loved the evening shots up on the hill.
I appreciate that pal

@@kotabeaner It's a deal!!! I enjoyed this video...great mix of topics all tied together. Well done.
Good job...
Outstanding video always a good day when you post
Nice Train
It was great I got to meet you on National train day. Keep up the good work man and Hopefully I’ll see you soon out there on the sunshine state rails
Likewise, hope everyone’s been well. I don’t even know when I’ll see me next…besides at work tomorrow. Joy.

@@kotabeaner but keep up the good work dude👍
Its always a good day when dakota uploads. Great job doing the vlog style video, it was actually pretty cool to see you try this out.
Awesome video, keep up the good work! As you likely know, CSX pulled a CSX move and brought back M604/M603 again.

That sounds plausible. Thanks!

Cool Video 👍
Not so cool weather👊🏼
awesome video
Thank you my friend
Excellent Catches!
Thank You! We tried anyhow.
Why did L729 needed 2 engines for a small train😅😅
You should come to Illinois, and railfan on the BNSF railroad which has a lot of passenger trains and freight trains every day
Awesome video and great catches on National Train day😊
Thanks much!
Nice video!
Thank Ya!
Amazing Video!!! Maybe we can meet up one day!😁

Now they reinstated M603/604 once again, after abolishing them again back in July. Ok CSX….
As though we didn’t all know it was coming. Shows how long I take making videos though…railroad changed their minds twice since I shot everything…Ha!
Have u seen any gators why u railfan
Does working on the railroad count? I’ve seen a handful while doing track inspections at the museum.
@@kotabeaner yeah that's works I know the gators in Florida are 1 millions over humans there
Real ones remember NTD 2020
We were still singing, but I don’t think the words were quite as nice
Thank you for featuring me and Joseph in your newest video👍
Railfanning in SWFL is so depressing in 2024, I miss the 2020-2022 days
