I don't go to clubs to hear cover bands, but the Franklin Brothers band is the only band that I follow..... Saw Steely Dan in concert many times, this is the closest you're going to get to their music... Outstanding!
Easily my favorite and one of the most underrated Steely Dan tunes of all time. I only wish my local watering hole had a house band like this! Tons of talent on that stage. Great work all around.
Found a cover of Hey Pocky Way (great by the way) and I was curious what else you did and I found this. Wow. I love Steely Dan and you folks nailed it. Great playing.
@@carlfranklinother than the tempo (which isn’t really all that off) This is the song that made me a Steely Dan fan for life. I’m always so glad to come back to a video of a band that really gets the vocals and horns just right. Great live performance.
Very nice voice. Many SD tribute bands and most manage the instrumentation pretty well but singer is always the weakest thing about the performance. Not here. Fine voice, man.
Bravo. Playing Steely Dan music at this level is quite a challenge!

Thank you very much!!
Love it

Thanks!
Really enjoyed that.
This and Kings are my two favorite Dan songs, both are criminally underrated. You all killed it.
It takes a village to play Steely Dan this well, and you've assembled one hell of a village here, Carl!
Thank you!
Just great Carl , also the other in studio version
Incredible performance!
Pure joy.
Great stuff! Congrats! Come play in Brasil!!
Lovely to hear this track again, wonderful cover!
Veramente bravi!!! Grazie...
Brilliant version of a favourite 👌
Tom DeFaria sounds great on those drums!

Nice take on a classic. I love the walk-down end.
Wow, amazing
What’s your hurry?
Yeah, we did rush this one. We normally play it at the correct tempo.

lead singer sounds a bit like Roland Orzabal on this. Would love to hear this band do Women in Chains!
That's it! Im subscribing!!!
Super! Whtas thar effect you use to double the vocals?
We use an older version of the TC Helicon vocal duplicator pedal.
Are his vocals edited in this?
Not one bit. That was all live. :)
