      The website doesn't show the scooter with front suspension, is this a slight change in the scooter's design? I was really hoping for that single spring front suspension on the handlebar stem, would've been the ultimate scooter. What made your team decide to change the design? Still super excited for this scooter, can't wait!

    This will be a hit! Your use case scenario almost perfectly matched what I'm looking for. Glad Apollo listened and added the front suspension as well. This looks to be a much sleeker, faster Max G2 (while sacrificing some range that I personally do not need). Hopefully the handlebars are a bit more narrow than the City model too. Looking forward to the release, well done thus far!

    We're excited to share that the official MSRP of the Go is going to be $1,199USD - $100 less than our original target. As a result of best practices around purchasing and production, we were able to shave off cost and pass the savings on to our customers.

    I have the city pro and in the last 12 month I drove my car 3600 km. It’s 12 years old and just hit 100 000 km so at this rate it’s got at least another 15 years. So $50 000 for a new car or $ 5500 for the Apollo pro.

    I was really worried this would only have suspension one end or none, only handlebar indicators too. Well done though Apollo this is a great addition to the line up! Will the single motor Apollo city still feature in the line up or is the ongoing line up shown here only be dual motor?

    Is it UL or ETL listed? I ask as a lot of leases are starting to have requirements for any PEVs to have UL\or ETL listing for both the charger and the scooter/ebike battery. If so please put that on the scooter page so its easy to show any landlord/ property management company that it will be compliant if asked to prove it. Cool scooter too, I have been begging somebody to make a 50 lb class scooter with the most they can squeeze out of it, and for in town use this looks perfect.

    Add more carbon fibre to the scooter, make it 7 lbs lighter, charge me a bit more as a premium chassis upgrade, sell it to me first. Watch the entire internet go nuts over it. Price to weigh to performance will be the world scooter killer. Apollo can be on top for decades. NIU is using plenty of carbon fibre for their lightweight release. Apollo already has the internals all buttoned up. Do it.

      Even with that, I nearly lost control and crashed after hitting a nasty pothole here in the streets of NYC and these tires saved me from making it worse.
      10 by 2.5 inch > 9 by 2 inch of Apollo Go so I'll get the Segway Ninebot F2 Pro as an upgrade instead.

    • @g00fysmiley
      @g00fysmiley 10 місяців тому

      May depend on the country, but usually in the US, 22kg/50lbs is the usual requirement. Most jobs list, if there are any, physical duties to be able to lift. 50 lbs is to me that sweet spot of not too heavy to walk up flights of stairs in one hand, or lift easily into a car trunk, but still allows a big enough battery to give meaningful range and speed.

      @@g00fysmileymy 2016 scooter that cost $400 weighs 28 pounds and has a 265 lb weight limit…. I’m still using it 7 years later and I am 6’5 and weigh 250 lol. It gets about 15 miles range, but I don’t mind bringing a .5 pound charger with me vs carrying something double the weight

    • @g00fysmiley
      @g00fysmiley 10 місяців тому

      @@maximizemoney5694 Glad to hear you have one that lasts, it is good to see somebody actually keeping theirs going and not getting the new shiny every year. Personally that range would not work for me though. My work does not allow charging at the office due to fire scares, and I work 11.6 miles away and have to carry my scooter up 5 floors of stairs when I get there. Also I need more range than just to work and back as I will still meet friends sometimes to do dinner or go cross town so realistically I need 30-40 miles of actual range to avoid needing to sometimes call an uber or take a bus. My current answer is just an ebike and I pedal when there is no more power bike is 3 years old and going strong, I just also want a scooter since bikes have to be locked up and not brought inside.
