Its interesting that he takes the Allegro heroico at exactly half the tempo which does add some credence to the double tone metrone idea though at other times they take it at single metronome time and even faster haha. Maybe that is the key to real music making and use of the metronome. It's not either or but both and even more. I guess its gypsy music so it's not as static as typical classical music. So beautiful
