I don’t know why everyone’s shitting on this. All turkey is dry. When has anyone ever seen turkey breast that is moist? Its not a brisket so its not going to have juice pouring out of it. You get the moisture by adding gravy which makes it taste good. I don’t think i’d see this much hate if a white dude cut open a turkey that looked like that.
Also. the people who are criticizing this for not being salty enough are complete morons who have zero cooking knowledge. The turkey was brined for god sake. In case you youtube trolls are too stupid to understand high school chemistry, through the process of osmosis, salt from the brine absorbs into the entire bird. Additionally, miso really salty which also contributed to adding saltiness.
One more thing, that turkey was not raw. I don’t know how these idiots can simultaneously think it looks dry (overcooked) and raw. The meat is white which means its cooked through. And to the people saying it “isn’t juicy enough” might i add that if your turkey leaks tons of juice when you slice it, that means you did not rest it long enough.
You’re supposed to tent to the breast section and leave the thigh and wing exposed bc they have different cooking times..it’s to avoid the breast from getting dry
I was thinking that she could’ve put that butter and seasoning mixture underneath the skin close to the breast meat also to make it a little more season!💜
Best brine technique I've developed: 5 gallon bucket and a turkey baking bag. Put turkey and brine in bag, squeeze all the air out and tie it. That way the turkey is completely submerged and you can toss the whole bag -brine included in the trash. Light wash on the bucket and done. Easy clean up. I hate cleaning raw meat containers bc I have to wash it 2-3x bc I can still feel the grease on the first wash so the bag method is tops.

So two things…..one, that bird could’ve used at least 40-50 more minutes to get a little browner. The meat was a little too pink for me. Two, certain flavors complement turkey meat better than others. For whatever reason I don’t equate Asian seasonings with turkey meat for some reason. I spent thanksgiving day volunteering at a turkey fundraiser. The organization was selling deep fried turkeys to raise money to build a new water well in Zimbabwe. Yummy 🤤 😍I’d want the skin crispier but that still looks yummy 🤤😍
LMFAO💀the Turkey is juicy yall but it could be juicer
That’s dry right ?
Def making this for my Christmas thanks for the tip love
Cook it in a bag and season under the skin with your mix and butter and don’t forget to inject it with some seasonings so actual juice comes out when you press on it unlike hers.
Saw this post-Thanksgiving, but this may be an idea for Christmas turkey dinner!
I mean it seem like it was hard to slice&wht juice?
Ma’am where are the seasonings🙈🤯lmaoooooooo that poor turkey😔😭
That's the purpose of the brine
@jerishamarie : Brine doesn't season. There is more to seasoning than salt, garlic and onions.
We need more videos with that pumpkin puree
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 i thought it would be extravagant
She left the foil loose so the moisture could escape. And it did.
Imaooo
😂😂😂 y’all are killing me!
I love the neck, I bet it's 🔥 with this rendition
If she was eating this in the end with a dozen asian side dishes and telling us the flavors of the brine and butter it would be so different in the comments
No seasoning I wanna see the rest of dinner
Looks delicious!
