    All the empathy we have and show to others is Eternal.

    The story about the KESTREL really stuck with me (referring to the video "Trying to live normal for 30 years"). I once loved a woman in my mid-twenties in a similar intensity and felt intense pain and grief for 2 decades afterwards. I found out that I am slightly autistic (self diagnosed) at the age of 38 and for the 1st time in my life, my whole biography made sense in retrospect. I just wanted to say to the interviewer that I was impressed by the level of empathy that she showed after hearing Chris´ KESTREL-trauma ! And I would like to thank Chris for speaking so openly about that ! In my eyes you two are very beautiful human beings that I find extremely likeable - which unfortunately does not happen often in my life.

    Thanks Elizabeth and Chris! CP has always seemed such a great intermediary between man and nature who applied the time and headspace to properly see into the latter.

    Thank you Elizabeth. This came through just as you and I were corresponding about the interview you did with my old friend, and new Christian Richard Spoor, so I gobbled this up, especially mindful of Richard's point about people on the autism spectrum tending toward atheism much more than the average. (I wonder, does this apply to all who are neurodiverse? 🤔)
    There is something extraordinarily Christlike in him carrying the burdens of the manifold injustices and wrongs of society on his shoulders.
    Which is a challenge to those of us who do have an explicit faith in Christ, to ask ourselves how we can show more empathy for neurodiverse people who bring a sensitivity to ""choose Life" that we so desperately need.

      Such a lovely point, and really where the question 'how can I love you well' stems from. It is so needed if we want to improve our daily interactions with everyone, but especially those who have been/ are still being marginalised. Thanks for sharing!

    Where is the Empathy for the Eternal.?

  • @JohnAtkinson-v5z
    @JohnAtkinson-v5z 15 днів тому

    What about empathy with the Eternal. Not with God, not with nature, not with narratives, not with a formulae, not with self-help and childhood trauma, not with the challenges, not with the community, not with the economic situation, not with the climate situation, not with life-style choices, issues, problems, ups, downs and work-arounds. The Eternal, simply, without ambiguity. THE ETERNAL.

    You can be a good and just person and burn the bible because it's just a book.
