      Yes, I also predict just that, that a complete real time version of their AI model is gonna allow us to experience different realities in virtual reality via text prompts, so damn crazy, it's gonna arrive most likely in the future at some point, it's just a matter of time (for example the needed 3D depth effect can also be produced via another AI model that would split into two each frame to separate correct different views and stream it to the headset to each eye)

      I can imagine government controlling people with AI. Making fake videos about their enemies, starting new wars left and right.
      AI will also be used to control you or manipulate people around you. Oh, you said something bad about the government?
      We create multiple videos using AI to frame you committing crimes. You will be silenced forever.
      Oh, the government want to invade another country for oil? We can use AI to make videos on how this country torture their own people.
      That will get us tickets from our people to invade them.

    I've been writing my dream show for the past couple of years, which is in a genre that doesn't exist yet. Although I love it, as I see it in my mind, it will probably not have mass appeal, at least not at first. But now I can make it myself!

      I know this is unrelated to the video and you might not want to share, but may I know what you mean by a genre that doesn't exist yet? What does it involve exactly? I've been experimenting/expanding my creative horizons from back and forth with LLMs, and I'm personally curious to see what other people have achieved. Though it's difficult to find a community for that :(
      And it's okay if you don't feel comfortable enough to share, I understand stuff like this is personal to some people.

    - The fact it can pan/rotate the camera so coherently and do other coherent things is making me think that they have a teqhnique of having a mix of low poly generated 3D models and coherent AI generation of image onto it, that explains how they are able to capture different angles from the same scene + being able to have such consistant and convincing 3D correct angles for objects in space (maybe it even explains how it is able to simulate - litterally simulate physics, maybe through the same invisible 3D scene it constructed the generation of video upon) -
    --------------------------------
    Edit : also, note how the camera can move perfectly smooth on its own yet the content itself that is viewed is sometimes kind of low frame rate, that's also making sense for it to be based on 3D because it means that the camera view angle is separate from the content of generation (else the same framerate would have been applied to both the camera motion and the object that is moving in it for example and this is not the case here)
    --------------------------------
    Another thing is that maybe bcs it's based on 3D scene then it's making it easier for the AI model to understand where to put lighting and reflections in a coherent way since it already exist's as 3D surfaces in different angle's ETC so then that's also why it can make it look so coherent with it's lighting and reflections as well, maybe their model is trained to know how to allucinate images coherently in relation to 3d space it has to work with in a 3d scene

    • @mohammad_prh6984
      @mohammad_prh6984 3 місяці тому

      Dude you are making it too software based, and you mistaken it with 3D production, its waaaay different and more complicated than just simulating 3D things, although the method is so complicated, but the explanation is kinda simple, let me explain it for you like this, when you want to see a scene that you wanna make or just remember a memory, what do you do?? right you imagine the picture in your brain, your brain neurons are making a scene using brain waves based on what you saw and understood from the world and apply those information and rules on your memory or the scene you are imagining, your brain does not need any 3D simulation or any method to figure out the camera movements and the physics , you just imagine it and the brain waves will make them in your head based on the information you learned from your life till now, Ai is the same thing here, they trained the Ai for several years before they even release first version of GPT, its like a new born baby that is seeing the world and learns about how it works, in this case Ai is just imagining with some sort of simulated brain neurons that the humans made them for it, it is exactly like the Ai is imagining something but the difference is its not a faded image in your head and its actually on the monitor, when you for example imagine the same woman in the video walking in city, your brain accidentally jumps or breaks the imagination and the image in your brain will get weird look, Ai is the same and thats why it always has flaws, but after all this, Ai does not need any 3D simulation or models and info to make a reality for you, it will just imagine it in for you using what it knows about laws of physics and world and the reality we live in, its an artificial "intelligence" its an artificial brain.

    • @21EC
      @21EC 3 місяці тому

      @@mohammad_prh6984 Yes but mere "imagination" (or hallucination) of the AI model kind of way is prone to not do the stuff their revolutionary new AI model is able to do, like remember stuff and where they were and how they looked even if they are gone from view for some reason, and also their model can accurately maintain shape and volume in a very accurate way which I don't think that the older imagination method way could do so there's something here they are doing that makes their model being able to maintain the 3d volume shape as if its being helped by an actual 3D scene or something with 3D accurate aspect to it, it could be that their model was trained so good to do accurate 3D models of the real world along with realistic physics and then I could understand it kind of, it would make sense but in any case this AI model of theirs is totally different from the other text to video AI models company model, it's doing a profoundly different thing that makes it so coherent and convincing.

    Now I'm maybe realizing something, could it be that their AI model literally generates in 3D space whatever it's been asked to generate so that explains why it's so coherent in general? (could also explain how it can also simulate physics so well) so their model understands real 3D space and how things should look or behave in 3D space (maybe as 3D points in space with given color)

    The killer app for this sort of technology is allowing artists with very low budgets to tell very big stories. Along those same lines, it's highly empowering for creatives working on projects with only niche commercial appeal where significant budgets could never be justified. As far as Hollywood, they will always move the production goalposts further out as technologies like this become commonplace. Everyone has a nice little camera on their iPhone but that doesn't mean they can make 'Dune'. And if you tried to make 'Dune' with Sora you would end up with a weird, experimental art film. I will concede, that is with Sora today. In the future? I refuse to make any bets against the potential of AI. Thanks for this video!

    Movies cost money MAINLY because the directors actors and script are very skilled. People also like knowing that they are seeing real people do things in real places, not to mention experience real emotions as actors - that's what good acting is. "Faking it" is what hack do. You cant precisely control these things with a prompt - it's nothing like holding a camera in your hands, in your way, that fits your vision for the story moment exactly. That's what filmmaking is. Think about this: How many movies shot on iPhone by amateurs, despite the millions and millions of people who have iPhones have ever been released (answer: 2, and one really flopped hard.) All this is hype. The AI movies that anyone can make in their basement: No one will watch them after the novelty wears off. Plus, after spending 10 minutes watching their demos, at first I was very impressed, but I can already spot that AI look. Try it for yourself. That Grandma for example is the stuff of nightmares. And... No language models cannot generate scripts that anyone could stand watching the result of for more than 2 minutes. Language models do not even know what they're saying - they just copy-paste the most likely related word set. So... Don't worry.

      The problem is that the "AI celebrities" will be owned by companies, and their involvement in various AI movies are going to be driven by corporate motivations, basically the executives will be the puppeteers but those people will change, in and out of the companies, compromising the integrity of an AI "actor".
      I think what makes people connect with an actor like Tom Cruise throughout the years, is that he is an actual person and he stays consistent as a person and an actor because well he only has one brain.
      I doubt that people will be able to connect to AI actors in a deeper level..

    I was having a conversation with an anthropologist the other day who said that the basic biological tenants of human beings will always prevent anything too crazy from happening like a dystopia.
    Anger, love, survival, empathy, apathy, shame, etc.
    For example, in the case of AI, if enough of society sees it as shameful, it will be shut down and disavowed. Regardless of the amount of billions thrown at it. This is kind of the state we’re in with social media right now where the CEOs of these tech conglomerates are facing serious threat of mass exodus and severe regulation from lawmakers.
    And since those innate biological mechanisms are ultimately a part of nature, and we all know nature always wins, everything will be alright.

    Personally I'm more intrigued by the "glitches" in those AI generated videos: the floating, shapeshifting chair is in my view a much more powerful feature that the iper relistic rendering of, say, exotic animals.
    I can only wonder if such technology was available to directors such as David Lynch, Spike Jonze or Christopeher Nolan to name a few, what kind of visuals and cinematography they could have achieved.
    It is a matter of taste ofc but in my case surrealism is much more intriguing and entertaining than iper realism, hence it's not a matter of realizing one own's dream projects but rather crafting literal dream sequences.

    Each person's essence is etched in their dreams and daily pursuits, especially in their chosen profession. Yet, the looming shadow of AI replacing human roles casts doubt on our future. It's confounding why some fervently champion innovations that jeopardize our fundamental right to earn a living. Beware, the allure of novelty can exact a devastating toll. Remember.
    It's baffling why those in power don't halt technologies that threaten lives, and why courts or human rights groups don't step in. Ordinary folks uphold the world's wealth structure, yet their job security is at risk. It's the duty of every government to protect their people's livelihoods.
