I am tempted to do this as well.... but I am planning to put on some 700x50c knobby tires, the stock tires are super stiff and too narrow for loose gravel.

Been looking at this as I see so many people riding on some dirt and gravel no problem. Does the lack of suspension crush you on rough bike trails, potted roads or off road? Considering the summit but that is $500 or more than an t1 st plus with a range extender. I currently have a Zooz and I know these are different but looking for something more comfortable for 15-25 miles or so at a time

Hey , I’ve watched your vids & got inspired by buying one , got mine in April, one thing I’ve noticed & has gotten worse is the clicking on the headsets, more likely cable slapping, have experienced this on or by the headset? Had for a while but ignored it , now , bike randomly shuts off , lmk what can I do , I’ve had contacted velotronic in late may , sent me a link to send video but it’s hard to record & ride at the same time , by talking to customer service, didn’t seem optimistic they would pay for repair, it has a 2 year warranty but I’ve seen on Reddit some complaints, anyhow , have you had any cable slap or any issues with the bike , thanks

I've tightened the blots on the headset near the handlebar once or twice. Figured it was just a little loose after riding 1,500 miles. The bike shutting off is also something I experienced. I had to send in a video just like they asked from you. Go to an empty parking lot if someone can't film for you. My troubleshooting steps were resetting the torque sensor which can be done by turning the bike on and off ten times. When that didn't entirely solve the problem, Velotric sent me a new controller which I replaced myself. Was pretty easy and only took about 20 minutes. You'll need a 3mm Hex key which did not come with the bike, but is only a dollar or two online, and a few dollars at your local hardware store. About 1,200 miles later & I haven't had a problem since. Please reach out to Velotric customer support and mention that you have been in contact with me on this channel. I have been able to make two contacts at this company after making these reviews. They want to make a more grassroots effort towards marketing. Hopefully that pushes along the issue. But you will need to make that recording. I did figure eights in a tight space on purple to showcase that the electric assist was not working.
