- Members of the Royal Family have arrived at Guildhall in the City of London for a reception and lunch hosted by the Lord Mayor in honour of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

James, Vicount Severn and Lady Louise Windsor are really handsome children. Love their parents Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex and his lovely wife Sophie. They both have really stepped up to the plate to help the Queen.
I know Charles wants to scale things down, but I really think with the fantastic way Edward and Sophie have raised them. James and Louise would be a true help to William when he’s king, similar to how the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra support the Queen.
I am glad to see Catherine’s choice of colour did not go unnoticed. She looked absolutely beautiful truly a tribute to her Majesty. They make a beautiful couple and they will make an excellent King and Queen. God Bless them both and God Bless Her Majesty, our Queen and congratulations on her Platinum Jubilee.
I’ve always thought Edward, being the baby of the family, lived in a constant shadow of his older siblings, but I like the way he & Sophie have been brought to the front….a lovely couple I feel.

Love William being a gentleman - turning to see where Catherine is, waiting for her, then letting her go first, hand lightly on her back - so happy to see how truly devoted couple these two are, and how classy!
He should have helped her out of the car and escorted her. He didn't wait for her. He went straight to shaking hands. Nor did he wait for her upstairs as she spoke with the lady. Duty before family. He's not so classy. Catherine is beautiful and very much an inspiration.

@@felis3315 If you are talking about Camilla, I think that you will find she always stands where she is meant to and never tries to grab the attention from the Heir to the Throne. For someone who refused Prince Charles first offer of marriage many years before Diana ever came on the scene, because she didn't think that she could do the job of a Royal, she has taken on roles given her with dignity and decorum and is respected and liked by the people of Cornwall of which she is the Duchess. If you are sinless then by all means point the finger but this woman has endured many years of nasty name calling simply for falling in love with a man who was born a Prince. She has worked hard behind the scenes and deserves a little understanding. She won't ever replace Princess Diana in peoples hearts but she has earned our respect for the kindness she has shown others especially the late Prince Philip by taking on his duties.

@@karenmorris2239 Actually, nearly every woman's dress except Kate's was 'ill fitting'. Camilla's sleeves are too long and many of the dresses were 'frumpy' or seemingly made with poor quality fabric ~ no interfacing, puckered seams, etc. I'm usually a big fan of the hats but, while the underside of Kate's hat was lovely, the top was unsightly ~ as was Camilla's hat. She could stand to 'scale down' her hats, in general. It would provide her with a more balanced look.

Whoever designed the outfit for Camilla did an amazing job. It can't be easy designing for older ladies - we don't stay slim etc forever. However the design, the embroidery, the material combined produced a magnificent outcome
