I was at this game. What a Navy team that was. Still mad that they didn’t win it all. In club ball i ended up running on a midfield line with a starter from the Syracuse team. We had to discuss this game, of course. It was cool to get that sort of insight.
Can see Navy instituting a stall tactic on on offense to keep the ball out of Syracuse's hands. This became standard strategy against teams with offensive firepower. Ultimately leading to shot clock.

The game that hooked me on the sport - still playing 15 years later. That Navy team was incredible.

My dad was on Syracuse for this game!
Best intro in sports I've seen.
The intro sends chills down my spine!
Do more of these, please!
Love it
oh man any chance you could do the 2007 final four?
Was this the game where the Navy goalie played with a separated shoulder?
Broken collar bone….Matt Russell, Connecticut Lacrosse Legend
