1:00 my theory of this, is that this is the villain that either kills yu zhong family or kagura sister by summoning the army of the demon, and he got the badge on his shoulder which yu zhong has, this badge might be for the strongest exorcist expert, but this villain is probably the former one and quit to rule the demons, and he had a partner which is the second strongest exorcist expert who trained kagura, yu zhong, and when his partner died, he gives the badge to yu zhong as an official and tell yu zhong to save the world from the evil dimension that the ex former strongest exorcist lives

The amulet on the mysterious man's chest is the same as Yu Zhong's, but in fact the kagura also has one, and they get this amulet from the exorcist association when they graduate,They are used to track soul devourers. And in exorcist lore, there is also Yu Zhong's friend who massacred Yu Zhong's clan and joined the soul devourers,And this friend of Yu Zhong has the same abilities as him, turning into a dragon, etc. So it could be Yu Zhong's friend in the trailer and not Yu Zhong himself.

still every badge is unique it aint similar besides… whats the point of qi having that, he aint tracking soul eaters cus he already has the power to produce them. 2nd the drscription didnt said atracted, it just happend to be greeted by a FELLOW (CURRENT) not former exorcist. I know this will be yu zhong since the two new exorcists still doesnt have those emblems in the video but in their wallpaper and model their emblems are already present

So it's impossible to be him in the trailer, he doesn't want to interact with anyone if it doesn't lead to him killing Qi,And Qi is the big villain of the exorcist world, he is wearing the emblem because it is part of the exorcist uniform,And he doesn't need to use it, but he will, just to generate hatred in real exorcists,Even in the description of the scene it is said that an exorcist attracted Granger and Hayabusa to the place, I'm sure it was Qi.
