- Driving in Perth - BALCATTA TO ALKIMOS ( Perth, Western Australia)
Long drive from Reid Highway in Balcatta, Western Australia and merging into Mitchell Freeway all the way to Mindarie, Western Australia. We passed the suburb of Jindalee until we finally reached Shorehaven Treasure Island in Alkimos, Western Australia.
Join me in my travels and let's explore Perth, Western Australia together.
Very fun driving tour guys, the blue sky view is so beautiful

Glad you liked it. Thanks for the support, mate.👍🙂
It's so nice to see blue skies! We in the UK will now have to wait a few more months before we see the sky like this again. Thanks for sharing!
Lived in the UK for a few years so I know how it's like there, mate. Just enjoy the blue skies thru my videos 😁.
Now with the 2nd stage going ahead from Hester Ave to Romero Rd shoaled be even quicker to get to Alikmos and Yanchep without going down Marmion Ave thru to Butler with all the lights and roundabouts.I actually worked on the Mitchell Freeway from Burns Beach Rd to Hester Ave for 2 years, Nice video, thxs for sharing.
Wow, that's good news. 👍Thanks for this info mate. It's good to have your trip shortened but sometimes we purposely take the longer route for the scenic view. ✌😁 Thanks for watching. 👍🙂
Enjoyed the drive up the freeway. Had never been to the promenade at Alkimos, but have done the drive all the way up to Two Rocks. My daughter Had a teaching post at Atlantis Beach, Two Rocks, and for 2 years did that drive from Woodvale, Joondalup all the way up to Two Rocks and back every day! Nearly killed her! Thank goodness she now works closer to home! 😊
Glad you enjoyed the ride, mate. OMG, Two Rocks is even way further. Must have been a nightmare for your daughter to do that for 2 years. She could have moved closer if she really needed to work there. We almost bought a property in Alkimos 6yrs ago but I dreaded the thought of driving from there to Claremont everyday just to take my kids to school so had to pass. It's a nice place but a bit too far for me. 😁
Enjoyed this drive, nice to see how it all has changed..i look forward to this drive next year when i hope to go back to Perth..😃🌞
Thanks for watching again, mate. Glad you enjoyed it. 👍🙂 Yes, there's a lot going on in this part of Perth. Welcome back to Perth soon. 🙂
Regardless of any man-made changes for the decades to come , one thing will be forever for Perth’s identity and that is the combo of Bright gold sand + Darkish Green trees + Heavenly blue sky . You will always be there in Memory film 🙂
Thanks for watching and for the beautiful comment, mate. 👍🙂
Great tour
Thank you so much, mate. 👍🙂
Cool 👍😊
Thanks again, mate.👍🙂
A nice drive, that, and it was very good of you to drive past WA's first X Convenience store too. 🙂
Of course, it's odd that it sells Puma fuel, as opposed to the SA stores going with Mobil, though that could change at some stage. 😉
Wow! You noticed that one? You're a keen observer mate! 👍🙂
Thank you so much for watching. 🙂
@@drivewalkwithme9863 Sure thing, and since there are many X Convenience stores in Adelaide, they're very easy to spot. 🙂
Maybe we'll have more of them around in the future then 🙂
@@drivewalkwithme9863 That's very likely. 👍
So beautiful
Glad you liked it. Thanks.👍🙂
Nice vidio
Thank you so much, mate.👍🙂
Hello friends can anyone give me idea how is alkimos, i mean is it good to stay with family? Please guys advice me.
I have a friend who lives there, he has 2 kids and they're loving it there. It's a very nice place especially if you love the beach. Hope that helps.👍🙂
