There's nothing in the world like being at "The World's"! Truly an event among events... Every piper should have a chance to be in Glasgow in August... I've been blessed to be there three times... (thanks Dad!)
It’s too bad this band has folded and is no more, their medleys were always so well arranged very musical. This will always be one of my favourite medleys, RIP dowco triumph street pipe band!
My God, I'm italian guy and I've start to study HBP from last December. It's simply amazing! Bag pipe it's an art, a life, a spirit of one COUNTRY like the beautiful Scotlant! I love that... I love this guys!
I don't Care what anybody says........THIS BAND and performance is the single greatest I've Ever heard. I'm from the Great Glendora Pipe Band of my youth and today's greatest Youth Band of America of which some of our kids will be in Worlds in 2019. Simon Frazier is just Dynamic and their musical selections are tremendous. Wow.....
Thank you so much for uploading this awesome video. Simply breathtaking! Such a pure form of music that has stood the test of time. This style of music is so dear to my heart as a music lover and a Scot. Nothing better!
living in Seattle I'm blessed with the opportunity to see these guys every summer at the games. I always make it a point to watch these guys after our band competes. thanks for posting this!
Further comment, some wonderful piping there, and some great drumming, the sort that is in my heart, overall, but particularly in the last 8 bars. Wonderful.
Excellent! The videographer did a wonderful job, unique and very interesting throughout. Loved the Bass drummer's actions! crazy about the Flourish Tenor Drum line's routines. Thanks.
absolut Perfeckt.
John Peter Presson, Protopsaltis No, a lot of bass drummers walk sideways. I'm not exactly sure of the reason, though, as I'm not a drummer but there definitely will be one.
Tr. St always was a tight, musically solid band. I was quite impressed with their overall sound when I was piping in the 80's with the Keith when they were just getting back into competition -in fact I think I bought the first album Tr St put out with the lovely harmonized hymn at the end (I lost it years ago unfortunately, and have been on the hunt for another copy) --but the visual in continuities are a little difficult to get past. Hope competing teams don't throw banana peels for the bass,
+John Peter Presson, Protopsaltis It is an odd technique right enough... Not one I'd use myself but a good few bass drummers do outbid personal preference

He never claimed it was, and because he posted it we all get to see, and enjoy it... cut that shit out, no ones giving you brownie points for being an ass.
My soul left my body on the release of that first roll, so clean you could eat off of it!

Truly breathtaking. Bagpipe music is the best, and never gets old.

Both for better sound projection from the drum and can see the pipe major more easily
