Hi Jennifer! Thanks, this is just what the doctor ordered! I scored 10/10 both times. Here are some examples: 1) Lately, I've been grinding away at English phrasal verbs and prepositions, among other things. 2) She pulled herself together and visited a sightseeing restaurant despite her fear of heights. 3) If you are unfamiliar with the word, you can act it out. 4) He's prone to make Freudian slipups. Afterwards, he tried to talk it down like it wasn't a big deal. 5) His rude and too-direct comments are sometimes gnawing at me. 6) As a young student, I racked up student debt. It was a millstone around my neck for too many years! 7) I wish hilarious comedians' talent to entertain other people would rub off on me! 8) I haven't seen you in a month of Sundays! We need to catch up soon.

If you please In the past only travel aboard or looking for books to learn new information. Nowadays UA-cam channels as open universities for every one google is our library. I looked up for definition of pharsal verb is verb combined with adverb or preposition or sometime both to give meaning. There are 35 advanced pharsal verbs islets speaking for Example cut down means reduce . Bank on to except something will happen. Check in means arrive at hotel or airport and register . Check out means leave hotel , cheer up means to make or became happy. My name is khatoon it’s Turkish origin means Nobel lady as princess and your name is Cornish origin means white wave or fair one . Ihope I learn a lot from your knowledge. We appreciate your great efforts both native and nonnative speakers.

I got 2 out of 19. The most important is caught on words and used in accurate context. Pls don't memorize!! I spent grinding away at memorizing bunch of information without effective results. I piled up them without usage. I needed to pull myself together so one of my techniques was belted out music for relaxation and acted out for remembering words connecting to my mind. I listened your advice but i talked down. I gnawed at me, I felt lazy to apply nevertheless i racked up failures Even i know people slipped up from time to time. I hope to look forward catching up.soon Jennifer...

Regarding the phrasal verb talk down, can we use it interchangeably with the phrasal verb play down and the verbs underate or underestimate?
