Mrinalika was absolutely correct by achara
The guy did better in 1st try
Jay means success, Vijay means victory and Jayesh ( jay+ Eesh(God)) means god of victories.
Wouldn't Jeet also be victory. Rather than winner.
Vijay means triumph, Jeet means victory.
Triumph doesn't need a competition.
@@awneeshkumar9557 Where can I fact check it? Thank You.
In south India Jaya has been used as a girl’s name. Can Jay be used in the same way up north or not?
@@liverbot4854 Yes, Same word with same meaning but different way to pronounce and spell it. Happens in North too.
Achara got almost correct considering she's reacting to Indian things from a long time but how did Michael got so many right here👏 I'm impressed❤️
She's thai thats why
South Indian names are challenging for our fellow Indians too Achara😂
Yuvraj means crown prince . Rajkumar means prince and raja or maharaja means king
Michael was so right many times I'm shocked😂🔥
Michael is like Achara in terms of getting other cultures, he also gets the movies fast. Not upto the level of Achara but still good.
@@princejoseph8280 even the nail colours as well.
Achara❤Girl you must be Indian in your past life😂 Seriously your pronunciation is too good👏
she was an asian lived in thailand before britain and america
that's why she can do it
If i'm not wrong, she was born in WB or his father then they moved to Thailand 🥲
i find it really amazing when southern indian language "tamil" is spelled as "tamizh" where "zh" is pronounced as "L". people who are new will never be able to pronounce it.
And that too with a folded tongue L. I am a Hindi speaker who is learning Tamil and i find it so interesting.
Similar to most non-indic speakers not being able to pronounce the "rda" sound in ladai, or kadwa
In Marathi we have Letter called " ळ " it's hard " L " All south Indian languages have this letter you can also found in some north Indian languages. l think Vedic Sanskrit too have this letter.
@@shilpachalwadi4160 i was gonna say about that letter, and that is in many south indian language too but still marathi is 70-80% sanskrit and is categorised as Indo-European language
I am from Andhra Pradesh south india i can easily pranounce most difficult words but i felt difficulty pronouncing Malayalam words
I think Malayalam is the most difficult to pronounce.
Yah because of tongue role and malayalis are expert in pronunciation that's what I know and I am from Maharashtra because most marathi actors actress works in southern film industries so I was watching one interview where I get this thing
Malayalam is hard but not the Malayali names. Most of them have some sort of Christian names anyway and they are easy to pronounce.
Why do u think so😂😂😅 it's not right, sanskrit be like: what's about me😂,r u forgotten me😅😅😅😅
12:20 Yuvraj means "crown prince" and Raj/Raja means king 👍
Raj is a king. Yuvraj is like you said crown prince or prince.
@@blairwrelos1891prince is kumar….or raajkumar
@@adityaprakash1050 oh my bad. I thought yuvraj was also a synonym for just prince. Thnx for letting me know
Raj means kingdom, no?
@@mishrarohit99 Rajya/samrajya is Kingdom...Raj literally means rule (verb) but when a person is named Raj, its meaning becomes Raja or King (noun).
Just for fun i watched 7 years old videos of jaby and achara
Dammm
Time passed so fast
And both video quality and their growth was really awesome ❤
Achara was so beautiful before
Now
She more ❤😂
Love u guys ❤❤
Raaj really means King and yuvraj means prince or the person who's going to become the next king ❤
Raj means rule, Raja means king and Yuvraj means prince.
@@meenakshi4796Raja and Raj both can be used for King. Just like Maharaj and Maharaja both mean - The Great King. Similarly Raj and Rajya can be used for “Kingdom”.
@@TheBinit18 I only knew Raj means Rule and Raja means the Ruler. You could be right too though.
@@meenakshi4796 doesn't rajkumar mean prince?
@@rishikajain6521rajkumar, rajputra, yuvraj
wow wow Achara is sooo smart and gets it with good understanding of Indian sounds and names.
4:17 well done achara😮
Raaj mean "rule"...Raja mean "king"...yuv mean "young" So yuvraj mean prince...
Yuvraj means Crown Prince!! Who is like too young to be called a King
This was such a nice and wholesome video. I've never listened to K-pop but they seem to be pretty cool!

I don't know about other languages but for me SNASKRIT is the launguge I find hard , toh pronounce even a single word right you need to have command over letters, also the Sanskrit works are sometimes half a line long .
And the most important thing Sanskrit doesn't have dialects , that means you have to get it right there's no other way.
4:10 Wow! That was freakishly close...😃
5:50 Ok... Did she do a practice run...!?! I'm genuinely amazed.
6:22 Aight, stop showin' off girl 😂
7:35 Ok... I should stop with this because Achara will get most of them correctly...😁
I would love more content like this! like cross-culture variety reactions. They're so fun and the stuff I watch all the time so it's extra fun to see your reactions
I think nobody gonna talked about Micheal nails 😂😂😂
I want more reactions with achara and michal ITS THE PERFECT PAIR
ALso michal where did you find him? What a gem
woah Achara pronunciation is perfect......
They did pretty well tbh. Better than any South Delhi or SOBO person.
RAJA = King 👑
Yuvaraja = prince
you guys should totally upload yourself learning hindi. full fledged course
This team of Achara and Michael is 💞💞🤩🤩
There is a movie named "BAGHBAN " it is very nice story between parents and there children .
I suggest you to watch that you guys definitely love that movie .
6:15 Absolutely Correct !! You nailed it bro ❤.
My name is Abhimanyu which means pride and the one who wishes to fight
This is how we pronounce those names:
My threy
Dhru tha raastra
Mru naa lika
Baala Krish nan
Aa dith ya
Dhru thi
Bala krishnan and Aditya are the easiest.
Dritarashtrar is misspelling of *Dhritarashtra* 5:30
Yeah South Indian names are hard😂
Even north side people don't pronounce our names perfectly..
If you are from south, you can pronounce anything in India 😉
True, south indian names are really hard to pronounce
Couldn't agree more.😏🤭😏🤭
But I think people from mainland India butcher the names from north east.
@@Kaito028 mainland india?
South/North mainland nai he kya?
But I think Northeast indian names are the toughest specially the tribal ones .
Damn Michael got Drishtrashtrar faster and clearer than I did when i tried reading it.
When I heard Say It... "Vampire" Popped in my head lol
Northeastern Indian names are the hardest, in fact there are names that are composed of whistling sounds and song. Anyways lots of love from NE ❤
Yeh it's challenging for us north Indian, s to pronunce northeast Indian names😅.
6:22 Achara you just called out my name!
Raj/raja means king yuraj means next king or king to be ( usually the oldest son of king or the one king chose to be the next king) and rajkumar means prince ( usually used for the other sons of the king who are not future king)
This video reaction is super fun
The meaning of Dhriti is Morale or Courage... Not Dharati as Earth
Plz do a watch along for the movie " moonu" ❤ it's be fun
Actually, Sanskrit and tamil are the basic basic in India from where most of the other Indian languages branched.
Raja means king, yuvraj has two parts yuv coming from the word youva meaning young and Raj from Raja meaning king, so young king or prince.
South Indian languages are derived from Dravidian language and hence different from North Indian language and more difficult to pounce even for a Indian living in northern India...
Achara told right. YUVRAJ means prince and RAAJ means king.
4:25 - Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that name is from The Mahabharata - one if the biggest Hindu mythological epics
I love Indian names. I really like Achara Michael duo.
Michael, u look better than all of those Kpop members. 😊
LoL, this is my stuff. As an ESL teacher with a major in Sanskrit, I'm giddy LoL.
1. Mai-trey is pronounced mae as in man. Trey can be tri, trey or treya (the last a is like schwa) depending on the region. The t is a very hard sound. For reference, imagine the difference between the pronunciation of T in King Tut (anglicized) and Tutankhamen (real).
2. Dh-ri-ta-ra-sh-tra (there was a mistake in the video, or maybe it's from another region). To be fair, this is Sanskrit, not Hindi, so it's more difficult. Now, the dh sound is not something that English has. Think of it like 'wild-horse' (the sound of d and h together; except the d is pronounced like Donde in Spanish). Also, the a after t in ta is a schwa sound. There's a very simple rule for that. The rest is just pronounced as it looks, pretty much like Spanish does it.
The guy in black and white stripes didn't deserve to be hit on this one, LoL.
3. Achara nailed it in the first try. Mri-na-lika. If you can do the Mri, you can do the rest. The second one, MriNAlika, is wrong, because Hindi is like Japanese where each syllable gets the same stress.
5. Aaditya or Aditya is pronounced AA-DIT-YAA. Now, the problem here is the t sound. It's not the English T or Greek theta, it's the Russian Ta/Te. For instance, there and tam (there is Russian) are very different in how they pronounce the T. In the English t, the tip of your tongue is touching your upper palate, while in the Indian or Russian T, the tip of your tongue is touching the back of your upper teeth.
6. I've never seen another foreigner pronounce Dhriti this accurately in their first attempt. That was great!
As for 'strength'; Jayesh >> Jay = Jeet. (Jay is Sanskrit and Jeet is Hindi). Jay-esh means the god of victories. Most names with -ish or -esh suffix have similar meaning. They tend to be old-fashioned names though.
Jiyeon sounds like a really cute name. I wonder what Ayush could be, haha.
Definitely northeastern Indian names are the hardest to pronounce.
Americans reacting to Koreans trying Indian names 😂😂😂
Achara loves short king....ahemmm ahemmm....u know what it means 😅
As a Bengali, Tamizh names are hard for me to pronounce
Jeet means win, anything closer to winner in hindi would be Ajay, victor.
Please watch omg 2 ... It is awesome and underrated
Achara is more Indian than me ...
I mean oohh goshh she's hella good at almost everything ❤
Prasiddh in Sanskrit means someone famously known for the Mastery over something worthwhile. Siddh itself means a Master (literally it means you have completed the art/craft etc). Pra adds a “supreme” element to it, as to push it to even higher a position.
Another example is Prakhyat, where khyat means famous. Prakhyat kind of means lile he’s famous all around.
Similarly when you say, Prasiddh. He’s the best among the masters.
The name Pasidh is probably taken from this.
Some south Indians names are hard, like a bit pronounciation but I have heard 97% South Indians pronounce North Indians name wrong.
They always add extra 'h' or 'a' to our names when we don't even have
Every regions have their difficult names😂😂😂sista and bro..😅😊❤
Sanskrit and Tamil is the oldest language in the world 🇮🇳💪
Bilkul
I wish they talked about this mix of Urdu and Hindi language that people speak nowadays, specially people from north India. Agreed that Sanskrit is the language from which a lot of other language were derived from, but you won't find no one speaking to each other in Sanskrit on the street nowadays 😂
yes , but if you speak proper hindi without mix of urdu then it have of almost 50 to 60 percent sanskrit words in simpler form
Raaj means rule , raja means king , yuvraaj means prince
Has a South Indian I have to Poke the Wasp nest and say South Indian Languages did not origin from Sanskrit they are completely different branch while Sanskrit comes from Indo-Europeans branch South Indian languages have their own separate branch on their own . Yes after thousands year north Indian languages have had influences in all of them but I just want to point this as lot of people have this misconception than Sanskrit is like thr mother of all Indian Languages I am not even mentioning the Sino Tibet Languages found in North East India
Bla bla bla...
Do you guys remember that Vicks ad that you were responding to about a transgender and her daughter, so I just wanted to tell you that there is a whole series of their story called 'Taali'.

10:55 well done 👍
Please do the reaction video for once upon a time in Mumbai
You are right achara regarding Yuvraj .
However the Indian host in video herself pronounced few words inaccurately and few of her explanation are wrong
Guys leo is out ask jaby to react to it
The second name I couldn't pronounce lol born n raised for 25 years
Yuvraj means crownned prince😂
Theo all got all the names almost correct !
The two names they got wrong were the ones most common to Korean and Mahayana Buddhist culture in general. Maitreya is the Buddha who is yet to arrive (contradictory to what Ambedkarites say) and Dhritarashtra is one of the four Heavenly kings or the Four guardians of the cardinal directions i.e. Chaturmaharaj/Chaturdikpal (Not to be confused with Dhritarashtra from the Mahabharat).
Another thing most people would not know Jegal is actually Korean name of Zhuge clan, Zhuge liang was a sagacious strategist of Three kingdoms story of China.
It's easy for us to pronounce coz the Nepali language is also derived from Sanskrit.
Official languages : Hindi , English
Ancient language : Sanskrit
Official languages : 22
(Every state has their own language)
(Even most of the states single handedly have 10+ languages)
In total there are 1000+ languages in india.
Michael Boose is a natural
Raaj means 'Rule', in context of Ruling Power not discipline.
Yes yes please get Michael on board to watch 3 idiots
I am from Punjab and South Indian names are hard to pronounce
Wow I am Indian and I don't even heard some of those name
6:28 me watching this with my name Tilika 😂😂😂😂😂
Achara try this : Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya !!
More of michael's reaction!
If you think these were hard then try Yuyutsu.😌
My name is actually maitrayee and Michael pronounced it just right
Yuvraj means crown prince
Pratyakṣa, Tarun, Rohan, vishwajit etc gujrati name in India
Aachara means pretty angel
Michael means like god😊
Well said by achara..❤
Some spellings were wrong:
"Maitreyi" or "Maitri" for girl (both are different words)
"Maitreya" for guy
It's "Dhritarashtr"
"Raj" means rule, "Raja" means king, "Yuvaraj" means prince
Also IMO India should officially use "aa" for writing the way they speak it, like make it mandatory to avoid confusion,
since we don't have much symbols in our Indian style of English writing, unlike European language's umlauts or breves.
For example, the A at the start of Aditya and the one in Aditi are different. The point I wanted to make is, why not mandatorily write it is as "Aaditya"?? I know many "Aaditya"s too, but "Aditya"s should change to "Aaditya". Again, it should be "Raajaa", "Yuktaa" etc.
ive seen people use this -> ā ī
in certain textbooks to differentiate between longer vowels and shorter vowels (the lines indicating a longer vowel)
Yuvraj do mean Prince,
Raj mean rule,
Raja means King.
bro I was born in an Indian family and even I failed all of em.
I don’t know why I watched the whole video 😂😂
Yuvraj means crown prince.
Achara you re so correct 😮
