We’ve been asked that quite a few times actually, we might, one day 😉 (though we decidedly lack the in-depth historical knowledge that regular guides have - whereas we feel pretty confident as to knowing what places visitors would love to see) 😅
We are arriving July 21 st and I want to thank you for all the tips. We will visit a lot of bars and restaurants that you recommended. Keep you posted!
Have a great time!! Are you aware it’s the Tour de France weekend in Nice (we might have talked about it, not sure if I remember correctly). Anyway, things will be a bit wild that weekend, in a good way though 😅
@@rivierago I know...we did'nt know that when we booked the hotel last year...it is what it is. I really wish you all the best with your channel and what you do is very important! I also made some reservations for the restaurants you recommended. Your info and voice is amazing. ( Le patio and others) We are going to take the tram to our hotel, so do you think I can do that with all that stuff from the Tour the France...? It's located near the promenade the anglais...
@@19711000sandra thank you!!! 🙏 I think the tram will run as usual (since it doesn’t run along the Promenade), but I‘m not entirely sure. Also, you won’t be the only tourists, and they need to keep the city running. So be patient when it’s crowded, and enjoy the vibe - it’s going to be amazing!
We did learn quite a bit actually! Happens when you live some place and have been to all these places a thousand times and you feel like you already know everything, but really, there’s always more discover! 😉
I watch every video of yours, thank you for your content. I have always visited Nice in summer, but this year will probably go in winter. Do you recommend to go in winter?
Hey, we absolutely do! Did you watch our video “7 reasons why to visit Nice in winter”? We can absolutely recommend coming in winter. The weather is less stable, but when the sun is out you can sit outdoors - and you have places (almost) to yourself! Even though, to us, the best months to visit are probably May/June and September/October…
Thanks! Yes, the oysters are sold at the little fish market at Place Saint-François, on weekends they have this special offer - but it wasn’t part of our tour, Jael just pointed it out to us 😉
Please consider the knowledge that the tour guide shared, as well as her having had to make prior arrangements with purveyors they visited, and, especially, for being well connected enough to reserve a table at Socca that is very popular. All that is in addition to the amount of time that the tour guide spent on the tour itself. Where I am in the US we pay specialists by the hour for many tasks (including plumbers, mechanics, designers, personal trainers, massage therapists, tour guides...) and are not surprised if they charge us $120 to $360 per hour.
Here we go again. Nice is a city, not Disney World. As a local I am so glad everything showed in this vid is meant for tourists. We don't eat or shop at these places. Fortunately this lady hasn't got a clue where real life takes place.
What are you talking about. I lived here for 12 years, and I have french friends living here. I go to the meat and vegetable market. If you don't go there, thats for you. But to speak for everyone? Pfff
Sound tempting? Here's the food tour we booked: 👉 gyg.me/Vf17Kknx (affiliate link)
French Riviera it is absolutely amazing
😊😊😊
Fun! Local tour guides are always a Nice way to see things from another perspective
Couldn’t agree more! 😄👍
Nice, especially the old town area, is a delightful foodies paradise. Great sharing as usual, ladies!😊
Exactly, a foodies paradise! Not only in Nice, but all over the French Riviera you’ll find delicious food 😊
🫒 Olives! Yes! And local olives are the best, for sure!
What a fun story!
Magical Nice.🎉❤😊
🙏😊😊😊
Delicious. Thanks for another masterpiece.
🙏😅
Another great video! Thank-you! You both should think about offering services as paid guides as well! ❤

That food tour was not worth 100 Euros/or dlrs. They tasted some olive oil, macaron's and a little food.

Thank you - we absolutely agree!
seriously overpriced!
Not cheap, but we thought it was a fair price for a 3.5 h tour plus food sampling
