His lovely music made him leave forever, I love listening to his music right from my young age through my Dad because he is his favorite musician, may his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.
This very short documentary cannot do justice to the memory of the great legendary Ayinla Omuwura. The quality needs to be improved vastly via 1st person narrative represented by family n friends as well as critics. His Akpala was unique and the lyrics needs to be interpreted for d benefits of younger generations of musicians for its moral teachings. Ogun TV should be able to do more by internationally showcasing this egba-ogun state son.
The best local musician in Yoruba land. Hmmmm! He deserves more than this. Wish I have enough resources to do a complementary documentary for him. This man is the real legend.
Africans forget the dead so soon and nothing in place by the Govt to immortalize them. But as for Alhaji Ayinla Omowura, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Chief MKO Abiola to mention few. They immortalized themselves through their choosing careers and service to humanity before their demise. I am so honour and proud to be an Egba man. The home of every positive first and history. Lori oke ati petele, ibe lagbe bimisi o, ibe lagbe tomidagba o, ile ominira.......Bawa all the time.
it is of a great pride to have come from the same ancestor..My mom is from Ijaye...My dad is from Ibara...Am so proud to come from OGUN STATE...RES IN PEACE ♥️

I’m from remote area of ondo state but knows too much about the late Itoko Apala maestro, I have all his albums and most of his live plays but unfortunately I don’t have any of his live video. Continue to rest in peace Egunmogaji
Adeboke, Nigeria, very pathetic, has grown with unstable foundation. you know, a house built with unsubstance materials is bound to collapse in no distant time. This is exactly what Nigeria is passing through. When you visit Malaysia, a Nigeria country of sovereign co-eva, you will shed tear, like me, for Nigeria. Nigeria is yet to be a country!
You guys have to re edit this video.Would be a great shame if all the info shared by those who knew him in this video is allowed to go to waste as a result of the audio of their voices being totally mute.
How possible that the reporter on this feature - Moranike Shobaloju did an awful job of lack of audio on this piece on Omowura? Did she not check her work after uploading the feature as to the audio quality? OG tv should repost this feature with the audio of the people been interviewed, so that we can gain insight into their perspective on Ayinla.
Please go back and do the recording very well because we couldn't hear what the people are saying about, the A pale king. We can only hear your voice and music.
He was killed by one of his band members by smashing a bottle on his head. Ayinla was also a thug throughout his music career. He lives by the sword, he died by the sword.
They also have their own family responsibilities. Most of them musicians took more than they can bite as they have many wives and children to also look after.
