General Kollignton Ayinla is a cosmopolitan Fuji artiste. He is equally a social crusader. His impact on the evolution of Fuji Music cannot be underemphasized. That said, and without disrespecting his person, the highest authority of Fuji Music will always be the progenitor, albeit, creator of the genre, Dr. SOA Balogun, even in death. The decision of Barrister to leave the Army for music was influenced by Ebenezer Obey and not because of the merge salary in the military of that era. Whenever I see Kollington of today, I always wondered what aging has done to him. In his younger days, he was terrifically hansome with a dashing mustache. I wish him long life and good health and may the soul of Ayinde Barrister continue to rest in peace.
