Ok, the A340-500 and -600 was not nearly as underpowered as the earlier CFM56 powered ones (like a plane with barely more than double the thrust of a small narrowbody but on a massive widebody) because the Trent 500 makes slightly less than double the thrust of the CFM56s that the earlier -200 and -300 made. The A310 was basically just a shortened A300. You also skipped the A321. The A330 is not one of the most sold aircraft, as that goes to the A320 series (which is the most sold jet airliner) and I find it a bit funny you made the mistake since the A330neo (especially the -800neo with just 12 ordered) has done really quite poorly, especially compared to the 787 which has sold like 5x as well.
