    UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

    I picked up one of these washers for $40 with the same issue. Pulled the pump, found zero oil gear oil. Add oil, cranked it by hand, reassembled, and works like a champ again. If I were a betting man I’d bet your would of started working too.

      It may have started turning but before all of this it was leaking pretty badly and would hardly pump.

    I have a Troy bilt pressure washer I used the previous fall. Put it away for the winter, wouldn’t start. Cleaned out the carb and it started, only to find out the manifold was cracked. Replaced the pump and manifold, and works like new! Recommend running these out of gas whenever you use them.

    • @exiquter78412
      @exiquter78412 2 роки тому +1

      The pumps require Pump Saver, from Briggs & Stratton, to condition the seals, and antifreeze the pump for winter. Any water left in the pump during freezing conditions will crack the pump manifold.

    I have a question. The plug in back of oil filter that keeps gas from running out in the filter is missing and leaking gas threw. Can I buy that plug. Pressure washer is not looked up. Would that leak keep engine from firing? That plug looks like it keeps gas in carburetor. I’m a woman and I need help. I enjoy having knowledge to do my repairs.

    I'm curious about the little raised ridge area on the side of the crankshaft of your engine (you can see it at 9:34). I have a very similar model of pressure washer (020344) and the crankshaft doesn't have the little raised ridge coming out of the side of it, instead, there's a little groove there. So I'm not getting much pressure at all… But when I look up that crankshaft part online, it looks like there's a groove, not a raised ridge. So I'm not sure if there's a little metal piece that supposed to sit in the groove that's missing, or if I'm missing something else? Hope that's understandable.
    Anyone have any ideas?

  • @capicolaspicy

    Could have mounted the new pump rotated 180 degrees to match old - foot spacing will line up, have done it many times, but won't hurt anything that way as long as the hoses can connect...
    And you are absolutely correct. It is like heroin LOL, once you start you're doomed!

  • @lendiesmith2227

    When it locks up like that you just have to relieve the pressure at the sprayer.

    I have a washer that belongs to a friend. The pump oil looks like sludge. Where do I get the seals that go around the pump rods? I assume that the sludge means that there is water getting into the pump. will the seals stop the water from getting into the pump? By the way the washer is the same one that is in the video.

      Are you deranged? I am a woman contractor who has owned one these troy built pws with a Honda engine for about 12 years.... took it in after it started leaking oil and they said the pump needs to be replaced.... $500 worth of repair. I think I can do this more economically with the help of one of these UA-cam videos. And guess what? I am a lifelong Democrat. How in hell you feel that it's appropriate to inject political preference into these comments is beyond stupid.
