    Hi Chioma, Thanks for answering my questions. I already was accepted at USC on the Gold coast, I have a big process ahead:
    1. 10 weeks of academic English
    2. study four social units before the master
    3. the Master
    I will be watching your videos in the whole process. Thank you

    I noticed that on the AASW website, there are some MSW Social Work programs in some universities that are considered "Partially Accredited" by the accreditation body. Is it advisable to study a partially Accredited MSW Social Work program in those Australian universities?

    • @lifewithchioma
      @lifewithchioma  2 роки тому

      Hi Obinna,
      The partial accreditation is for new Social Work programs yet to graduate their first cohort of students. Once the first batch graduates successfully, they will ve fully accredited. Yes, you can still study at those schools. The provisional status will not affect your eligibility for membership in the AASW. In any case they would have their first set if graduates before you finish anyway

    Im a new subscriber and graudated BS Pharmacy in my home country. I plan to get Social Work course in Australia because of my work experiences i found that i am more into people connection and empathy.
    1. Can you suggest a good accredited school in Melbourne, that cater Diploma in Social Work? I only have small amount of money to enroll...
    2. After Diploma in Social Work, will i be able to find work in the field, while studying Bachelor in Social work ?
    3. What are the needs and possibilities to PR with Social Worker profession? Thank you so much !💕💕💕

    • @lifewithchioma
      @lifewithchioma  2 роки тому +1

      Hello!
      I am unfamiliar with diploma courses in Social work and therefore cannot recommend any school. The entry level qualification for Social work in Australia which will qualify you for PR and membership into the AASW is either a Bachelor of Social Work or a Masters of Social work, not a diploma. You can search accredited social work courses here www.aasw.asn.au/careers-study/accredited-courses. Please watch the videos in my Social work playlist for more relevant information. Hi Chioma
    While we apply for AASW registration if there is any deficit like long career break (Nearly 8 yrs of break) what would be the compensatory program they ask for. Currently I'm doing Cert 4 in Family,Youth and Child Intervention.Will that be helpful for the registration?

      I am not sure how you can address gaps, but I reckon you will have to give a reasonable explanation for the gap - just my opinion and I may be wrong.

    Hi Chioma, so grateful for the videos. Could you please help me with finding the universities which do not require bachelors in social work? As I have my bachelors in life sciences. This is Avinash From Hyderabad, India
    I was completed BSW and MSW India. Now I'm planning for one more PG social work in australia
    My question is is it worthful studying social work in australia
    And we get get jobs easily over there or not??

    • @lifewithchioma
      @lifewithchioma  2 роки тому

      Hi Avinash, yes, Social Work has a great employment outlook in Australia and it is reflected in how stable it has been in the skilled migration program over the years. It is even listed as a Priority Skill at the moment which means your visa can be processed faster if you find a sponsoring employer in Australia. But beyond that, it appears that you have great prospects for PR through the skilled migration visas since you already have a BSW and MSW. Have you considered these options, instead of spending thousands studying again?
