I love how the kickers name is David, the movie’s called Facing The Giants and how the ball in this scene represents the stone. Just love how they set up pieces of The Bible’s stories. 😊
These are the movies that rebuilt inspiration and faith in God. FLYWHEEL, FACING THE GIANTS, FIREPROOF, COURAGEOUS, WAR ROOM and OVERCOMER. There is not one that did not make me shed tears.
Past few days I have been feeling defeated. But some how this video ended up in my feed. I have seen this movie a long time ago. But it made me cry and realize that I have to trust in Jesus no matter what. Amen
This movie just shows that no matter how big the obstacle is in your life, with God you can and will overcome it. Nothing is impossible with God. May God bless you all
No one can convince me there isn't a God. I had a Diabetes Education class to help me learn about the things that can help me with controlling my diabetes. I'm insulin dependent, and while there my sugar dropped really low, if it had happened 10 minutes later I would have been driving home and may have passed out and had a bad accident. On top of that, my instructor was going on lunch, so she was able to stay with me to help me correct my sugars. She stayed with me for 3 additional hours because my sugar just would no come up, her 1 and 2 o'clock appointments had canceled, so again she stayed with me. I don't even want to think about what might have happened if the sequence of events had happened differently. Thank God for His intervention each and every day, you never know when it has saved your life!🙏
Watch The Encounter (it's on Pure Flix, but also here on Yt as well). Bruce Marchiano plays Jesus who appears in a modern day image of a waiter and slowly improves aspects of their lives they are struggling with. One couple is having marriage issues and Jesus tells him He "can fix his marriage and do more as well. All he has to do, is ask" literally that easy. If you believe, you need only to ask. 😊🙏
I've been watching this movie for nearly 8 years now in my sobriety, and it was in the end the walks in the room pregnant with the 2nd child and on the mantle in a picture frame was the saying ( With God All Things Are Possible ) Thank You Lord.
I'm glad that they also brought up the fact that there's more important things in life than football.... in a great football movie. This is one of the best football/living for God movies I've ever seen.
When you put your trust in God what seamed impossible God will make you it possible not to big or small that our God cannot do when we leave the results up to God he will make it happen we need to believe and have faith
I watch this often The return man should have taken it for 6 But the story shows he was out of bounds Then the young David nails the 51 yard kick Praise God The wind The spirit The kick won They beat the giants
@@mikeviscusi5681 nope I walked with the team to shake hands the fans came onto the field to celebrate the victory. Then we won the regional finals I was there I saw it happen I was there you weren’t.
@@jonchampion8720 I played for a team called the Whitehouse Wildcats based here in Whitehouse,TX. We had an up and down season. We won some and lost some. We had to forfeit our first 3 wins because of an ineligible player. But we played our hearts out to the best of our physical abilities. Regardless of whether we won or lost, we always walked out with our heads up knowing that we gave it our all. Above all, we always praised God
I never prayed in Baseball, only for him to heal my arm after horrific elbow surgery. Felt praying in sports was selfish as God has a lot more important things to help people with. I was in college and felt for the first time I wanted to quit. Was playing great but had other players playing over me to make me mad. Sat out 8 games in a row in pre season games and finally got an opportunity to start in our first series vs. SF State….the pitcher threw me 2 of the nastiest curveballs I’d ever seen…missed both swings by a mile… for the first time I stepped out and asked for HIS help to just hit it….the 3rd curve was even filthier…..I swear I swung the same way and felt something for a split second I can’t explain….I launched it over the fence but it was called a ground rule double…the grass was muddy and soaked so impossible for it to bounce over…I didn’t care at all just stood at second in shock at what I just felt. Later that game I made a hesitation error and the batter beat it out (he was super fast). My coach buried me at the end of the inning screaming at me for so long that the umpire had to ask for a batter….it was me… I ran to grab my gear and to the plate…first pitch I saw I ripped to left field! My Coach was so pumped and yelled at our team “I just buried him for 5 minutes…that’s what I’m talking about!!! Compete and want it!” Moral of the story: God works in mysterious ways…I feel he helped me that first at bat to prepare me for getting buried to have the courage and confidence to impress my coach with my mental toughness in the next at bat. Oh by the way I started every game after that. Was All Conference, won the most improved award and we won The D2 National Championship for Baseball that year. Never quit!
This clip perfectly summarizes the religious right and how they view life. They see movies and fiction as proof of miracles and God’s grace. They think life is a Jimmy Stewart movie where there is good and evil, and if you pray and believe, you can win the game. Good thing all the players in this movie were Christians.
i remember my hometown football team down, cause they heard all week they had no chance aganist a superior team in every aspect. Coach said right before before kickoff he said only the foolish would will get on the field tonight not men. So what are you fools or men, that are going to go out there give it their all. Yours town eyes are on you.. now Man up and get the job done. we would win 3 to 0 in overtime.
2:22 “I’m standing for my son.” His Son is David, but in actuality the Dad is the real David that stood up to Goliath, and his Son is Jesus Christ, “Kicking,” a field goal to “Bruise [the Serpent’s] head,” fulfilling Genesis 3:15…
After that kick, start putting Childers through kickers camp, have him play as kicker/punter only, then watch his football career skyrocket. Yes, I know its just a movie.
“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

This and the others are amazing
Only way to keep our country great, is to keep our youth great.
To do that, you must capture their hearts at a young age.
I always get emotional when David is scanning the sidelines looking for his dad and then sees him at the goal.
The part when God shifts the wind the other way always gives me goosebumps!

One of THE best motivational movies I have seen in a good long time. The "Death Crawl Scene" did it for me.

David beat Goliath. 85 of them. David was not afraid of Goliath’s strength because he knew how strong God was
Nobody beat anyone. This is a fictional movie.
