I attended a dinner because I wanted to join. A meeting was held. Because of my past I could not join. At this point in my life, I am restructuring it to where I want to be. I confer 2 Orange degrees, I Royal Arch Purple degree, and 11 Royal Black Institution degrees in 3 Protestant Fraternal Orders over here in Northern Ireland but I'm not a Freemason. I have 3 questions.

No. The thirty third degree is part of the Scottish rite which is an appendent body, its completely separate to the rest of masonry and the grand lodges have no jurisdiction in the Scottish rite. The highest degree is master mason, the 33rd degree is just the final degree of a separate autonomous appendent body just like the York rite.
