The bow gets very OP when you don't need to worry about running out of arrows like that. Seriously, just the ability to shoot flares far away and then switrch to deadly arrows faster than regular switching of weapons goes makes it useful. Totally running on 1980's action movie realism though, or maybe ninja movie... which is fine by me.

ur tactics really help my buddy and i play this game. started using flares, emps and wouldnt u know. die a lot less now. and use a lot less ammo.

It hurt when you threw the 5C AI76 away.
I feel like you should be able to pick up some of the arrows that hit the terrain.
You can with both flarrows and normal arrows! But its a random chance, so i didnt bank on it, retrieved probably a good 40 out of 200 something arrows so it doesn't make a huge difference.. but still helped the process :D
I'm telling you the bow just made this game a million times more fun
Does the flare arrow actually do damage? How far did you test this if you did?
Fun fact: The smoke rockets do damage. Shot 70 at a FNIX tank long ago and saw it was at 98% damage using the binoculars.
It does! Should run the numbers on it sometime, but on a surface observation it seems to be far less damage than the standards :D

I actually really like the bow, I was on the fence about buying the DLC at first, especially with the choices the devs have decided to make in recent times (Pushing out DLC before bug fixes, not testing updates enough to find glaring flaws everyone finds in minutes etc) But I bought it anyway and am actually kinda impressed by its uniqueness.

Tenebris, do the arrows pierce armour? If they do you should consider headshotting machines instead of going for their fuel cells, since headshots do significantly more damage (300% of the weapon's base damage as opposed to 150% - 200% for fuel cells)
Have you heard that GZ on gamepass PC was accidentally updated with new stuff? I think it happened with the recent hotfix.
I won’t spoil what was added but it seems like some future content, probably for the next update.

Hey Tenebris, I got an odd question about the bow. I just got a 4c bow and then a 5c bow. Comparing the two it looks like the 4c actually has more damage, but far less handling than the 5c. If I was rocking your Legolas build, would I want to go for the 4c for dmg? Since Marksman gives the handling. Lol idk
It would be cool if we could have a tank as a friend to help and have harder robot for the tank to help us with them

You should try beating the reaper with just a bow or flamethrower.
What about a only 1star weapons run on guerilla, with the ultimate goal to complete all Alpine Unrest missions. For increased difficulty, you could restrict yourself to 9mm caliber weapons and spec no skills.

Its hard to say my dude... It seems to be something with DLC stuff randomly getting triggered to spawn, but it seems to not pick everything in terms of duplication.... very odd indeed, but I would have preferred explosive arrows! xD

Wait there is a bow in generation zero? Bro i started playing 2 months ago, finished the main storyline 2 times and never found a bow neither an arrow
I wish my bow wasn't bugged and I could actually charge up my arrow to do more damage, but no matter what i do it just auto fires every arrow regardless of if I'm holding it down or not. Sad, because I was really looking forward to that weapon.... 😒
Hey cyborg this is sadly just how the bow functions, you cant prep hip shots, so the only way is to aim down sights to get a fully charged shot. Wish we could prep hip fire though the bow would be disgusting!
@@TenebrisInfinite No, I mean even aiming down sight doesn't allow me to charge. It just fires immediately every single time. It's bugged.
@@TenebrisInfinite Even that red bar that's supposed to show up indicating how much the shot is charged doesn't even show up at all on mine.
Oh no way man ive never even heard of that bug! And you know its rare when i havent heard of it :'D that really sucks dude cuz its the entire purpose of the bow. I'd say to try other bows you pick up up if you havent yet just to see if its just the one or the whole function.

I honestly have no clue my dude it doesnt happen in every save, but it seems a bunch of things cause certain items to dupe insanely outta control, dlc stuff exclusively but thats about the most i gathered during the run!

man, duplication glitches in generation are annoying to me.....i have over 270 hedp rounds.....and i regularly use the experimental grg...and i don't have the space to recycle them...my play style is op for maintaining huge reserve supplies despite regularly going on massacres of tanks, harvesters and wolves of every class just to burn off excess ammo and first aid kits....it took me 2 months to get down to 30, i only made 70...then they got duplicated, my play style is a stealth-stalk and strike play style (aka i will keep out of lets say a harvesters sight and try to avoid getting spotted by other machines then i will mag dump into the missile pods and what other weapons it has in whats effectively a shock and awe tactic then just stay out of they're "melee" range) meaning i end up using little to no ammo compared to what i get back in loot....either way, imma have to get this bow now...especially if it is silent with many ammo types....the flare arrows are gonna be so useful....first tho...shoot off at least 3000 rounds of each ammo type (even .44) to make space without looting more of that ammo....also i have a spare experimental kvm...how SHOCK-ing
@@luislongoria6621 fair, but im a lone gun with shitty aim, meaning i gotta play how i do or im dead, i don't even do base defence, mostly because i cannot prioritise the right enemy leaving huge gaps in the defence, im better on the offensive, so base assault is where im at, even if, i do suck at it, seriously, i can snipe the fuel cell of a runner at 300 meters with a small scope, but i can't hit a tick tank or missile pod on a harvester at a quarter that distance, is nuts

Does anyone know a location where you can fine a bow early game, the video mentioned something about its location but I cant find it
The plundra (storage box) has a three crown in it :D
Everytime you delete a charector it duplicates that ammo Mount into ur Vault box if u delete 5 charectors after jus making em n then Create a 6th n use that to play itll give u 6x the normal amount accidently found this out when I tried to wipe n instead got 10,000 rounds of ammunition for all my guns rpgs & normal rounds 😂😂
