Thank you so much for everyones support. What do you think about this piece? Should I have left the original pour or are you happy with the addition of color?
Anyone who puts their dog in the video deserves a follow. Now, about the painting... I LOVE it! I liked it with the yellow because that's a favorite of mine with anything in the pink family, but I also liked your correction. Really enjoyed watching you work the painting and it showed in the beautiful result!
Boom! Colour!! 😍 Such an Exciting piece! Love everything about it. Stanley is Sooo stinkin' Cute, it's unreal 😜 Please show him again after his haircut.
Hi Brian, firstly, Stanley is just the cutest little fluffball 😍. However I do see mischief in that adorable face 🤣. Secondly, I love your open cup and colour palette. Your finished piece is stunning and very galactic looking, to me. I love it ♥️😍♥️
Hi Mell, thank you for your sweet words for Stanley and the art piece. This piece scared me as I was worried things weren't going to come together but i'm so glad they did. I'm so happy to have your as a new subscriber. Welcome. :)
Great job Brian! I like the end result but I actually loved the first result.. I know why the yellow made you mad but it looked very cool. Don't be so hard on yourself, sometimes the paint has a mind of its own! Hello Stanley of Adorableness! 🐾❤️🐾
Hi Brian! I'm not much of a fan of yellow, but I really loved your original pour. I also love your final piece! Gorgeous either way! And Stanley is just adorable!! Cheers, Paige
I liked the painting much better after you did the second pour. Good decision. And I agree with you that the black really sets off the different sections. I just found your channel and I just subscribed. I look forward to watching more videos. Thank you for sharing.
I love the final piece and I also love the yellow. Yellow is one of my favorite colors so I loved the added pop that it gave to this painting. I know that a lot of people don't like to use yellow too much but it really is gorgeous!!!
Hey Brian, That was so cool to watch and I'm happy you added the colors because I think just like you there was a little too much yellow in the first version . Dried beautifully ! give Stanley a big hug for me , he is sooo cute .😍😍
Awesome job my friend and those big ole yummy Boulder cells that always excites artists! I personally think the first go was very pretty but repouring just took it to the next level. It also dried beautifully! Aww and I just can’t with cute Stanley (that’s actually my hubs name to🤣)!
Thank you, Treesie. All that yellow bothered me and I'm so glad I re-poured without it. It really help bring out the entire piece losing some of the yellow. Stanley is the perfect name. lol. We named all our dogs people names. :)
@@Studio15Acrylics We name our pups people names as well! I owned my own dog boutique and grooming salon for 10 years (just sold it last January) and the names I could share would blow peoples minds! 🤣 Picking out our 3 pups names, was a challenge because I related all names to different clients over the years but right now we have a, Ryder, Lacie and Ellie 🐶
G'day Brian... new subbie here from Australia! Greetings! Found your channel here and I must say, I love this piece. I love how you removed each cup, it annoys me no end when some dont remove them and then chuck out the left over bits! Will try this myself soon. I loved the blue left after the second pour, beautiful! Thanks for sharing your work, off to binge watch lol.
Unfortunately no, Susano. It takes 26ozs of paint to cover the canvas so the black base was the 26ozs. Then the additional paint colors going on top so if I had to take a guess that was additional 8-12ozs of colors. I use Length x Width % 28 to get what I need to cover the canvas for the base. Depending on the type of pour you're doing will determine how much more paint you will need and if you plan on leaving negative space then you'd need less ounces of the colors. If you didn't put a base coat down then your colors would have to make up the 26ozs. Oh gosh, I hope I didn't just confuse you with all that I just said.
@@susano323 yes the 26ozs is the amount it takes to cover that size of canvas which was 24x30. I'm available to chat with you on the phone if you want? :)
Hi I love your 3 cup pour, it’s very beautiful. Did you paint your original canvas black and let it dry before putting the black base on? I would like to try this. Thanks 😊
thank you Debra. I paint the sides and edges sometimes so that i don't get the white edges poking through after tilting. Darker colors don't always cover white as well so painting the sides and edges first gives it some coverage.
Hi Brian, I love the colors in this piece and the composition fell right into place. I love the black lines delineating the sections. I liked both 1St & 2nd pours. The 2nd pour the blues really popped out. I think it's a fantastic & beautiful explosion of happy happy colors. 🌈🎨🎶 And that little doggie is precious and way way to cute. Thank you so much for sharing your art.
New sub here! Wow!! Stunning! I guess it’s time to get the paints & resin back out🥳 I’ve seen some really inspiring art today between you and The Painted Dreamer! I must create!!!🌈✌️🤣 Side note: I realize it was raining that day but I would’ve liked to of seen the piece from the other side of the easel if you know what I mean… facing the other way…turned around🙃 The light would’ve been better? Who knows…it’s just what I was thinking when I was watching it. Hi Stanley😬
Hi Kristine, thank and welcome to my channel. I hope you enjoy my videos and art. I love when new subs comment and interact with me. It’s a lot of fun. I love all the feedback as well. Not sure what would show from the back of the painting. I never thought to check. Lol
I liked the first 3 "swirled" before you even tilted the canvas... with a lot of black showing. Maybe with 1 more on either side going off the canvas to fill it better. It was really different that way. By the time you were done it looked like most other pours.
I love it! I loved the yellow too and was really surprised it didn't go green on you with that black base. Excellent job Brian!😍 Omg Stanley is adorable, do you have to clip him, he's such a cute fluffy butterball!!🐶💕
Thank you, Julie. Yes I was really heavy handed with the yellow. I don't know why I didn't think about it before but oh well, I saved it. LOL. Stanley will go with the rest of the dogs today to the groomers. I wouldn't dare take that on myself. LOL
Hey there Kathy, I wold still use the yellow i would just not use so much of it. I use gold a lot so i wanted to not use it this time around. I love the yellow i just went heavy handed with it.
I feel like you got some beautiful colors the second time but you ran them all off the sides. Some times you just need to scrape a section off and start over.
I wish all you pourers would put paper down, let all the drippings dry and then bundle pieces of it up and sell it... like 20 pieces for $5 maybe? Why waste those gorgeous patterns and all that paint?
Hi there, Mosart. Thanks for watching and commenting. I actually do that a lot. I make jewelry with my skins. I'm a memeber of my local arts and crafts association. We have a huge Christmas sale. If I don't keep my skins it's because i scrape the paint off the table and reuse it for flow extender. No waste over here my friend. :)

I thought the yellow was beautiful . It was like the sun glowing in a galaxy. Turned out nice

Brian, were the additional cups you added AND the base paint, part of the 26 ozs for that canvas size?
