  • In today's video, we bale the oats that we cut earlier, and it was dry. We got 92 bales off nearly 4 hectares which is the biggest yield I have ever baled up. he remaining 9 hectares will be mulched and we are hoping to get a self sown crop out of it in 2022.

    Thanks mate, that was very interesting and, in combination with the previous vid showing the mowing, really informative. Hay making has always seemed like a bit of a dark art - we buy but don't have exposure to the process...we see the beginning in the paddocks and the final result, but how that result is achieved has always been a bit of a mystery. Well, this filled in many of the gaps...and, once again, impressed by the drone flying and subsequent shots - well done!.

      Hey Ross, thanks very much for the kind words. Yes hay is something I am still very much learning over the past 2 years. There are a few tricks to it but can be a valuable tool for securing feed for the future! Thanks again.
