Gods purpose for the church

In this video, Pastor Adrian Reynolds explores God's purpose for the church.
We learn about the importance of unity and oneness in the body of Christ.
Jesus has given gifts to the church, such as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, to equip His people for works of service. The purpose of these gifts is to build up and unite the body of Christ, helping us to become mature
We also learn how growing up and building up in the church is a team effort. False teaching can creep in when we make secondary things primary or fail to apply the gospel to our lives.
Speaking the truth in love is about helping one another grow in the gospel and building one another up. It's not about simply telling the truth, but about living out the truth of the gospel in love and kindness.
Adrian also stresses the significance of the word of God in the church and the importance of being a part of the body of Christ.
We are encouraged to use God's gifts to the church. Being part of God's plan for the church is a joy and privilege. The message concludes by asking for God's help in growing and building up the church, for His glory and to display His wisdom in the world.
