This is the mod vocally powerful and stunning rendition of this difficult Verdisn aria. Love her vocal technique, phrasing , temperament and squill!
Bravissimo. We have a new Diva!!!!!!!!
That would be Sutherland's, which might be the greatest recorded performance by a soprano in history.
She is so powerful and dramatic. Hope the opera world, the Met, etc gives her powerful dramatic colouratura roles to sing. We haven't had anyone since June Anderson who had power on the top notes. Its thrilling to hear. We'll all be praying and watching.
great voice and she looks fabulous!
Excellent! ❤❤❤❤
Besides stunning voice, finally a opera singer with exquisite fashion taste :) Chic, unique and daring !
She should be in the big theaters. What’s wrong with this world?
Everything is wrong in this world…
My first thought had nothing to do with opera: "finally, someone with some GUTS around here!". In my day to day life, I look at the people around me and think "damn it! where is your SPINE?!", so your big, fiery confidence made me smile.
The singing had some technical issues, but the big picture is that your gutsy confidence and use of chest voice more than make up for it (the basic, real voice is there, so you have the most important part, as opposed to the timid, zero-chest voice singing so common today).
Stupenda con quella grinta non se ne vedono molto brava
Brava! I was a coach at San Francisco Opera for the Alder Fellows late 80's and 90's and you are magnificent... your energy distribution flawless, perfect technique, with a spectacular dramatic presence :)
Amazing job.
Beautiful ❤❤❤ I can’t wait to see you in Lucia 🥰🥰🥰
In fact, this is sheer perfection!!!!!!!!
one of my absolutely favorite singers out there now!! 🥰🖤✨
Exciting, really thrilling singing!
Just fire!!! 🤩🔥😭💜🫂

Followed you here & on Tiktok - you are BEYOND!!
🎉🎉🎉
Loved discovering this-giving Sutherland’s Odabella a run for her money!
bravaaaaaaa!!!! that was glorious!!!!!
bravissima
At last!
Ma dove le trovano?
Agreed !
I LOVVVVEEEE your lower register (the chest voice) ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
In this aria you're only second to La Stupenda!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great!!! The definitive recording still belongs to sutherland though
Brava!!!! I realize this is just the aria, but it it is a tour de force on it's own. Well done. I've heard other's in the role struggle with this aria. My only issue with this performance is the hands. No one seems to know what to do with it. As my teacher called it the baritone Claw, in this case it is the soprano claw. That needs to be worked out. Singing was 1st class. Thank you.
She can claw all she wants if she sounds like this! Besides, Sutherland made a career of not moving her arms at all. Prima la voce, poi everything else.
Bella voce, ottime vocalità e dizione, ma troppo dura e aggressiva, forse perché è molto giovane.
I mean it is from an opera about Attila the Hun 🧐
Damn! It’s Marilyn Horne as a soprano! 🎉🎉🎉
Hm? Doesn’t make sense.
Why isn't this artist better known?
Because it's not sung too often. It's written for a dramatic soprano with coloratura tessitura, especially at the end. It hits you over the head with a C6 in the beginning, then throws you down to B3, then sits right on your register break forever, and when you finally think you are in the clear at the end of the first part, here come cabaletta and tries to kill you. Not everyone has the stamina for these kind of things.
@@VeronicaBellSoprano I know all of that. My question was about the artist.
@@BellaFirenze ah! Hm.... not sure, she is quite fabulous. Then again, life unfolds differently for everyone. And a lot of it is about being at the right place at the right time. Hope she makes it big.
