- These two guys have been sipping in the fountain of youth.., or something. I want to be like them. Glen Clark and Delbert McClinton performing two songs from their CD, "Blind, Crippled, and Crazy." January 2014.

November 20, 1972 ... Delbert and Glen opened for John Mayall, Phoenix, Arizona. First time to see Delbert for me, and loved ever since! So nice to see them together.

Hard to believe I know, but Delbert is largely unknown in Australia. A pity, because Aussies are so appreciative of rare talent like this. Shame on the music industry for not exposing him to us. He is an absolute legend!
And it's just the same in the UK, mention Delbert's name and all you get is ''who?''. It's probably more a case of shame on the radio stations for not exposing him to us - they have their own self-serving agenda.

The only singer that I know of that has a way with clever lyrics, and a way with word comparable to Delbert, is Rod Stewart. But Delbert is the best.

The band's not too shabby either! Gonna miss them and Delbert not touring any more! One of the greatest live performers ever!
For a live performance these guys sound great! These versions are better than the CD!
Bob Britt's guitar solos are amazing and the entire band is smoking hot!!! These guys could probably make a living doing this and the singers ain't bad either. lol
BTW talked to our missing Willie, he'd never heard the song and liked it! He at one time owned a restaurant in Myrtle Beach and Delbert and the band ate there a few times....He was quite familiar w/em...
