The difference between 400p rvs and 300p rvs:
"Pressure switch and accessories are what makes them different. A closed system is exactly like the compressor and tank in your garage. When it pressurizes, it shuts the compressor off. A normally open system once turned on, will just run and produce air until you physically shut it off. The 400P-RVS will shut off once the air hose is pressurized to 150 psi and will not turn on again until you press and hold the trigger on the tire inflation gun. Our portable compressors only come as you see them in the photos. There are no options to get them without accessories."
Can the guage be take off and effaced with a quick chuck? I like my guage that has a tire quick connect soni don't have to hold it on. Also, if the trailer is connected to my truck does that bring the trailer up to the required 13.6 volts or whatever you mentioned it needed?
I have a class B with dullys. Could I get by with the 300 rvs and get aftermarket duel sided air chuck? Would I need to purchase the air gun as well? And, if I went this route, could I use the winterizer kit with the 300 rvs? Thank you.
Hi Kim, The winter kit will not work with the 300 unit, and the modification you are talking about will not work because the air check is built on to the 300 model. If you want to be able to use the winter kit and have a 45 degree check for duallys then you would need to move to the VIAIR 400 RVS model. I hope this helps. Eric

Yes, it sure can! Check out our video comparing the Viair 300P-RVS to the Viair 400P-RVS. The 400 is my personal favorite for so many reasons.
Is this good for a Ford F-150 tire in addition to a rv tire
The VIAIR is great for passenger vehicles and RV tires, yes.
Would this work for a Dump Truck tire 90-120 psi ?
You really would want to get the 400 or 450 for larger tires. It is more powerful and has a longer air hose which is better for larger vehicles.
what is the differance between the viair 300p rvs and the viair 300p
Hi Bill, the RVS model is going to offer an extra 5 ft of hose. Both units will run off the same duty cycle so performance of the unit is going to be the same. Hopefully this helps to answer your question.
Is there a winterization kit available also?
Unfortunately the winterization kit is only available for the Viar 400 and 450 models.

Can I use this to inflate my TV tires too?

You absolutely can. We carry our VIAR with us in our Jeep when we are away from the RV and use it for that as well.
Michael, yes you can use it to inflate any tire whether it be RV, truck, car, etc.
