I don’t know I feel so bad for this girl. She looks like a fellow South Indian like myself. She thinks she is in eternal need of glow ups and modifications to herself. She cannot see how beautiful she is. South Indian girls have common insecurities with society imposing so many unrealistic standards on women such as being fair-skinned, slim but meat on right places, perfect height, facial features etc. like even South Indian men don’t want to marry South Indian girls and want to go for northies because of their fairer complexion. This girl has taken the insecurities from our culture and amplified it into a monster by adding social media, race and break up into the mix. After talking to the doctor… Of course he’ll recommend his product, that’s his job. It’s one thing to REALLY want surgery, and if you do, great. But hearing someone say they are mostly happy with their appearance and is already very conventionally pretty, I’m disturbed to hear the doctor’s guidance (to buy his product) was a major factor in her choice. I hope it comes out well and she’s happy, or this would be a very tragic story.
A good doctor would not do that and would tell you the truth. I'm getting a breast reduction surgery and have got fillers as well, and my doctor never over does it and says wether she thinks it's a good decision or not and if it makes me look better. I think it's totally fine to change something when you know how much it hurts and affects you. But it's it's important for us as people and as a society to realise that a lot if these insecurities come from for eg social media. Once you are insecure, that feeling of insecurity doesn't go away, it hurts you. Many people deal with it differently. Some feel insecure but know that they don't want to go for surgery so they try to heal from within, they try to 'like themselves ' with their insecurities (which is beautiful) 2) People deal with this in different manners. Some people opt for surgery , if it hurts you so much that you know in your heart you can't live happily because of that one thing, and if you have access to great doctors, have money then I'd say go for it. BUT the problem starts when the insecurities fueled by social media make a person insecure about more things one after another. Perfectly beautiful women feeling th need to change their nose because they see everywhere on social media that "THIS" type of nose is "perfect" . It's okay to change something that affects your life negatively to the point where it hurts your heart your soul and you feel like you hate yourself. I'm white with a big and kind of down turned nose to some degree but i find that type of nose beautiful on others. South Indian girls are beautiful you guys got big dark eyes amazing hair and so much more (idk how to say it without it sounding weird) but yeah ;_;

After talking to the doctor… Of course he’ll recommend his product, that’s his job. It’s one thing to REALLY want surgery, and if you do, great. But hearing someone say they are mostly happy with their appearance and is already very conventionally pretty, I’m disturbed to hear the doctor’s guidance (to buy his product) was a major factor in her choice. I hope it comes out well and she’s happy, or this would be a very tragic story.

I think it's totally fine to change something when you know how much it hurts and affects you. But it's it's important for us as people and as a society to realise that a lot if these insecurities come from for eg social media.
Once you are insecure, that feeling of insecurity doesn't go away, it hurts you. Many people deal with it differently. Some feel insecure but know that they don't want to go for surgery so they try to heal from within, they try to 'like themselves ' with their insecurities (which is beautiful)
2) People deal with this in different manners. Some people opt for surgery , if it hurts you so much that you know in your heart you can't live happily because of that one thing, and if you have access to great doctors, have money then I'd say go for it.
BUT the problem starts when the insecurities fueled by social media make a person insecure about more things one after another. Perfectly beautiful women feeling th need to change their nose because they see everywhere on social media that "THIS" type of nose is "perfect" .
It's okay to change something that affects your life negatively to the point where it hurts your heart your soul and you feel like you hate yourself. BUT WE SHOULDNT BE LIVING IN A SOCIETY WHERE WE ENCOURAGE SURGERY AS A "NORMAL" RESORT TO CHANGE PEOPLE'S LOOKS/INSECUTIRY.

Guys, let her do what she wants. Everyone says that we should let people be their real selves, thinking that they’re going to take off their makeup stop using filters, but there’s also people that like feeling pretty and wanting to get plastic surgery. Yes, I get that she may also be influenced by social media or people in general, but she could also have wanted this for a while and thought about it a lot.
