I hope there is a League Week 2, i think it's fair to say that the community thoroughly loved this journey. Win, lose, doesn't matter. From guest stars to bad clears, huge ganks to perfect smites. It was great to watch every step of the way. Thanks for the edits guys.
I think the league community as a whole forgets how skilled it's gotten. Someone got back into league after 6 years and they were consistently D4 with less than 100 games/season. They're currently silver/gold because other people got better while they stayed the same.
Yeah doublelift brought that up in a coaching he did with someone. He was like "well whatever rank you were before doesn't really matter because everyone got so much better" lol
Well, it's less about mechanical skill and more about knowledge. I used to no life LoL in high school, around 2010-2012 with my peak being a short stint in Challenger but generally being high D1 (there was no M/GM back then, D1 was directly below CH). I returned to LoL after watching Ludwig like a month ago. Got placed in Bronze 1, got to S2 after 15 or so games and now I'm G3 after like ~50 games and starting to stagnate. It's like playing completely different game. Most items are different, many new champs, many reworked champs, balance of everything is completely different from what I remember.
People are way quicker to judge out of ignorance now too. Noticing a lot of people are missing parts of plays and pinging and typing, yet they just straight up did not see why the play was made, or did not know.
I was d2 pick in s6(back then it was with best of 3 and best of 5 to get out of an elo + 5 divisions per rank ie gold 5 - gold 1). Stopped playing till s13. S14 started gold 4 and now i am d1 probably masters at the end of the season. Low elo knows shit. Back in s6 i remember being platinum and players having 7-8cs per minute and now plat players have their keyboard disconnected
@@sangwiny4440 Its both. As you mention with all the new champs, back in the day u had champs like udyr, nasus, darius and whathot who's whole strategy is just to run at you real scary. Currently there's champs with revives, dashes, combat dashes, regain, resets etc. it does require more mechanical skill as well to navigate the current waters. Besides that, a lot is indeed knowledge of champ strong points and macro.
12:18 lud running in circles just offscreen while connor and thresh get jumped 2v4 could have been the game winning fight but he's so tunnel visioned on getting fiddle passive on his ult he lets connor die, ults in 1v4, and then blames connor for it I could not play with this man
Does Lud ever pick these things up while doing vod review? Haven't watched much of his league content but it seems like he's always so confidently wrong.
i couldnt imagine having a big ole negative winrate with 150+ games and fucking up my clear every other match, ruining games and thinking : I should define myself by this champ
I wouldn't mind him coming back to fiddle but I swear to fuck people should play a lot of aram before sr for mechanical ability/dodging/champ knowledge and browsing the options before they lock something in
Props to Lud and Connor for sticking with it to the end. Connor's Jax was great. I still think Lud needs to learn new champs or roles to improve though. Either way, I thought the whole week was pretty entertaining.
Took a 5 year break, was high plat low diamond- now sitting in silver realizing how much better people have gotten over the years. It’s also crazy seeing how having 1-2million mastery isn’t something crazy anymore😮💨
The Talon disrespect is wild 😞 Talon in general is such a weak champ at the moment, I don’t think it’s a diss on the player, he’s using the full kit of Talon… it’s just the full kit is basically nothing so always looks so lacklustre.
As a main I don't think the champ is that weak, the players combo's are all slow and you can move a lot faster with him than he is. I agree he's not a champ you can always 1v9 with since you have to play around your cds but if you have cds and you're ahead or at least even you exert so much pressure on everyone. I agree though it's become harder to solo kill mages in mid, but it hasn't become any harder to solo kill Yone. Granted yeah Yone is a harder matchup to learn since he's manaless and his auto's are far better than yours.
@dubbinofyoutube I dislike the part where it has edits and it's interesting but I do like the parts where nothing is happening. If you could do an edit of it where nothing interesting is happening and it's just lud silently jungling and Connor silently laning that would be better

them leaving connor to dance around the inhibs when they could have ended for 15 minutes is why we watch ludwig
End of league week. Thank you for all the edits.

@@Ziibbiihe picked up almost nothing while being coached... It's even worse when he's alone
wants to hit a tiktok clip so bad he throws the entire fight lol!!!
Waiting was good he got his ult at max range if he didnt he would not have gotten the ult fear
@@sharkace1740 he does eventually get the ult fear on two but because connor is already dead it doesnt do shit which was my point
Ludwig calling that thresh bad is APPALLING. Dude carried that game LMAO
Everyday I tune in hoping to see improvement.
Everyday my hopes are gone.

lud is easily the worst league player who claims to play games that ive ever witnessed
