The +4 setup after Air Knee Smash when they do not recover is EXTREMELY tight. Make sure to mash them dashes after the Knee and those Mediums. Comboing into Cr.HP after the Meaty L Slash Elbow after forward through is not as hard as it looks, Alex has two versions of his Cr.HP. Do the down-forward version and he'll reach.
@DailyDoteSports 0:55 Can someone please explain how plinking LK (or any normal) with throw makes the timing meaty / frame perfect for a dash into throw after EX air knee smash?
+Van Diesel Productions on wake up you are throw invincible for a couple frames, in this case if you grab immediately you will whiff through them due to this invincibility. Due to the way this games buffer window works, if you plink a normal into throw, the game will buffer that normal for one frame, and then the throw. This means your throw will be delayed by exactly one frame, avoiding the throw invuln window and still grabbing them before they can get a jab out!
+Mike Schiller (Danke) Hey that's good to know, man! Thanks for sharing the tech so we can raise the bar in this game. BTW have you had any success using Alex's MP xx MP chop or HP xx HP Chop to create trades into combos? I haven't been catching people myself (can't get them to press a button) but I love the idea behind it.
+PhilomathBret You are invincible to throws for a couple frames coming out of blockstun or on wakeup. This makes catching 3fers on wakeup with grab a 1f timing!
+Mike Schiller (Danke) But throws have 2 active frames so can't the first active frame be the one before the jab's 1st active frame? Then the 2nd active frame of the throw could get them. This would mean there is a 2-frame window.
ahhhhhhh lol this is explains why I'm having trouble against Alex players. when I mash a normal, I'm hit...when I delay I still get hit lol. I like Alex though even though I don't use him.
4:20 video length. Very dank Alex tech indeed.
+Omar Manan That was totally by accidEnt.
That tip about trading with Chop and maintaining advantage is very useful. Thank you for taking the time to put this together!

Uploader: Danke, video time: 420. Fuckin stoner call the atpcops
+madthrasher88 Danke didn't edit the video. ;)
Why do you say a normal throw will wiff when you're at +4?? You realize throws are 5 frames now, not 3 frames like in SF4?
